Vodafone NBN – Completely Disappointing
I’ve been waiting week after week and still have no internet. Every time I call, they promise it will be resolved in 24–48 hours, but nothing happens. Calling back repeatedly gets me nowhere. The service is terrible and full of empty promises. If there’s a zero or negative rating option, I would give the maximum.

I was just forced to reset up my account with them. The new account hasn't rolled over my bonus credit that I had built up with them. Horrible. Ready to switch providers.

Hello.
FYI...Public Service Announcement....
Vodafone have already upgraded their "My Vodafone" App over this weekend.
In the new "My Vodafone" App, you can only have 1x Prepaid Service per Email address.
If you have more than 1, you will not see any more than 1!
I confirmed this is a Bug with Vodafone staff.
You need to create a new email address, and use it for your second, third, fourth, etc service, and log in via that new email address.
If you have more than 1x existing service on one account, you need to get Customer Service to CHANGE your email address for each existing service, to make sure you have One Mobile Number to One Email address!
Why they did this, no-one knows...it's a stupid rule. No other Telco does this!
Just an fyi for y'all....
One of the worst customer service they have, we don't have NBN internet for last 6 days and they have no idea how to fix it and worst they have no plan how to manage. They are cheaper however if things goes wrong they will prove you fool that you have joined them

In November 2025, I visited a Vodafone store because I wanted to transfer my existing Optus number to Vodafone. At that time, Optus service in my area was not working well, so I decided to switch.
When I went to the Vodafone store, the staff tried to transfer my number but told me there was a system issue and asked me to come back another day to complete the transfer. However, before I left, they had already created an order in their system and took my bank details. They told me the order would be cancelled and that we would create a new one when I returned.
Due to my busy schedule, I never went back to Vodafone to complete the transfer. I continued using my Optus SIM as usual.
After about two months, I noticed that Vodafone had been charging me $39 per month for a basic plan for the past three months. I was very surprised because I never completed the transfer, never received a Vodafone SIM card, and never activated any Vodafone service.
I then went to the Vodafone store to ask about this issue. The staff told me they could not help and that I needed to call Vodafone support for a refund. They also said that a temporary number had been created in their system at the time of my visit, which is why I was being charged.
However, this makes no sense to me because:
* I never completed the transfer process.
* I was never given any Vodafone SIM card.
* I never used any Vodafone service.
Since then, I have sent multiple complaints to Vodafone support emails, but I have not received a proper response or solution. The customer service has been very disappointing, and the issue is still not resolved.
The number that Vodafone created under my name without giving me any SIM card is: **0433043412**
I am requesting Vodafone to please review this issue and **refund the money that has been charged for a service I never used**.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience and the support has been extremely poor.

Customer of many years... multiple contracts for family. Have just moved to Aldi mobile. When I ordered a new phone with discounted pricing a few years back, surprise surprise the discount wasn't applied. I followed up with zero resolution for 3 months, raised to ombudsperson after i got fed up and issue was finally resolved. Now i've had multiple price hikes and unrequested / unwanted plan changes... enough is enough. Moved providers, should have done it years ago but paid the lazy tax too long. Don't make the same mistake, if you're not satisfied with their service (which is rubbish), take 30 mins out or your day and port your number elsewhere, it's easy!.
Cannot log into account, every single time its sorry there's an issue, so need to try and call them. 2 hours and still can't get anything sorted. Oh well my credit expires so I won't recharge, not that I can get onto the bloody thing to do it anyway. Def time for a new provider

I ordered a 5G pocket Wi-Fi at your store in hay Street opposite the underground station. Or so I thought.
I was told I'd receive an email when this item arrived at the store. Needless to say no email. I've been in three times to try to get this moving.
The staff are incompetent or indifferent or just lazy. This performance is unacceptable. I will try to order the item from Vodafone Australia direct. I don't know if this will be possible.

I have been a customer for 20+ years. I have had no problems until I change my mobile data plan to another provider due to cost. All of a sudden Vodaphone cuts my services on my home nbn services and put prices up. They have not responded to my inquiries and the chicken sh#t CEO doesn't care either. My advise. Keep away from them.

it is just horrible, horrible network company. The internet coverage is miserable, you will never know where and when places can be covered, even in city! sometime the internet can result in no connection and no service for few hours up to a day. Even the wifi we installed at home is unreliable. I used to live around Bondi, Central and now Burwood, not a single place have consistent internet coverage. Even the time im writing this review at home, I can not access the wifi and I need to use mobile hotspot. The price is just not worth it, and unlimited speed with unlimited data plan is not cheap either let me tell you. The price and bad customer service will not make anyone happy.

Zero, performed multiple credit checks. Even with the top tier credit rating, declined my application. To which I am still ok, its their company and they choose but no justification, even after checking with manager no explanation whatsoever. Wasted 2 credit checks and 4 hours of my life.
Impossible to Cancel plan.
Have contacted so many times to cancel, each time I get told it's done - then I get another bill. Had to bar on credit card, now concerned it'll impact credit score.

Vodafone seems to use up my prepaid data way faster than others such as Lyca, Lebara, Boost or Optus etc. Not only once, every single time. For the same amount of prepaid data, others would last me nearly a month but Vodafone only seems to last about 10 days max every time. Their method for their metering download data must be wrong?
The worst customer service ever. They first advice you that you can move to a different plan for a certain price and to call then once your cycle almost renew and then when you call them again they said they can’t do it. Then they tell you they can give you a different discount but then never applied it and once you call them up for the third time they don’t remember such thing. Their customer service team is such a lie, terrible customer service, unclear communication and makes customer like me feel so frustrated after such calls.
Ported into new Vodafone from prev Network Provider: business accounts.
Bills arriving on time.
Spent hours on the phone trying to sort out access and billing.
3 separate promises to call back: nada.
My "Account Manager" says "I do sales only"
Support says get MyVodafone app: cannot register.
Tech support says Business accounts do not use MYVodafone. !! 🤨
Tech support not helpful/ Swift Serve web page not functioning correctly
BUT: Vodafone very keen to take my Visa details !! 🤨
So far hopeless.
Will update if any changes.
Just received an email advising they are increasing my contracted amount of my mobile phone contract each month, to support their growth by covering costs of upgrading their infrastructure!! Apparently $10.5 billion profit in the 3rd quarter of 2026 FY is not enough for them. Will be getting out asap, and never again.
Stay away from this company they are misleading don't honour their agreement you make, charges keeps changing they are really rude not polite. Reception is very poor don't want to fix the service this company should be investigated.
