James was kind enough to receive and action feedback that came from VisualCV's earliest users and I've never run into any issues. My resume looks great, I have a public link that I can share with recruiters on the go, and it's made my resume management a breeze.

Honestly, I have been using this platform for my CV for a long time. I love the designs and templates, but it’s ridiculously expensive now. Paying 21 to 33 EUROS a month just to modify a document and/or have them remove the annoying stamp from the regular page so it can be downloaded properly feels abusive. They should lower the price ASAP.
Isn’t the whole point to help people improve their CVs and have better opportunities? Charging this much feels abusive and unfair — especially when the service doesn’t truly justify the cost.
I’m not sure which country this platform is based in, but I’m certain that in Europe, it could be reported to consumer protection authorities.

I have been using visualCV since 2017 and I'm very satisfied and can recommend visualCV. The app also works well and is very practical for making changes on the go on my phone during job interviews.

Used to be a good one, giving at least 3 templates for free. Now charges huge fees, unacceptable for the same product as before.

I've used Visual CV whenever applying for new positions, and I find it highly user-friendly, intuitive, and produces excellent results.
The customer service is also excellent, always responding immediately to any inquiries.
Overall, I find the service excellent and I will continue using Visual CV as long as I need my CV updated.

Slick resume building tool with great manoeuvrability and manageability - chop and change your CV with ease.

Get charged exorbitant fees for minimal use. The exchange rate to the Australian dollar also ensures they profit higher. Wasn’t even using the subscription, cancelled my subscription but was still charged quarterly fees and told I wasn’t eligible for a refund as I still had access to the account - which I didn’t even need.
Use only if you intend to be job hunting and then cancel otherwise you’re just using an app for nothing but paying for everything. You can get way better service from fee free AI.

I used Visual CV for a number of years, before AI really took off. For a competitive but still reasonable subscription fee, I was able to create clean, effective looking resumes. Then the subscription costs went through the roof with no discount features for long term subscribers. I recently canceled and they reactivated my account without my due knowledge or consent. There also is no readily available, obvious ways to downgrade or cancel on the website itself. Safe yourself the trouble and another AI-assisted source that doesn’t price gouge or clandestinely charge your account.

A Visual CV user for many years, recent watermark changes means that you need to pay for even their most basic features. Not worth the money - was happy to include a reasonable watermark but they've gone above and beyond to make the CV unusable without paying.

Personally I have used Visualcv since I started my career. The customer service are very responsive and supportive, the site provides great options for CV templates that are well organised and allows customisations to fit for all needs and thoughts.

I cannot recommend VisualCV anymore. There is no free templates. You will have to pay to download otherwise you get a big branded watermark with PDF. I have spend hours to build my resume on the platform but its no use. Also the subscription is freaking high! Who pays 25USD just to download a resume where there are other alternatives and in the age of AI.
