If I could give zero stars I would!! Absolute joke!!!

If I could give zero stars I would

I have had nothing but excuse after excuse and I am still waiting for a door to be fitted 4 MONTHS after paying £1425 for it.

Bill refuses to send me my money back and refuses to send me proof that this door was even ordered.

I was promised the door was being fitted since OCTOBER 2025 and have booked numerous days off work to accommodate it and turned down overtime to be told in NOVEMEBER there was a problem with the supplier!!

The whole ordeal is nothing short of a joke and to top it off I was threatened by Bill with contract law that made zero sense and suited his own agenda for absolutely disgraceful service.

I am now being ignored and this alleged door was meant to be fitted tomorrow. I’ve seen these reviews and echo every single one of them for experience but can’t comment on the fitment as this door is like a bloody unicorn.

I have even suggested that he couriers the door down and I’ll get someone else to fit it but that’s not happened either but the problem these days (allegedly) is down to the fitters not wanting to work for him. I’m not surprised!! I bet they haven’t been paid either!

He’s now told me his mental health is very poor at present (think he’s trying to play on my job slightly) however if you’re going to scam people out of money, then what do you expect? People to just walk away or get angry about it and rightly so. The most disgusting part of it is, I explained I was in a situation whereby I now need to sell my house and money is tight but he doesn’t care about that, but expects to play the pity card!! Unbelievable!! If legal action is being taken please contact me - 07786628008. Strength in numbers.

Do not deal with Bill Glover or any of his companies

Replacement double glazing and French doors fitted by subcontractors. Several issues:
1) Gold trim fitted along bottom of frame for no apparent reason (rest of trim was dark brown)
2) Rough cuts to top and bottom leaving white edges. Mr Glover claimed they were peelable strips, which was utter rubbish.
3) Draft coming from bottom of doors
4) Debris inside bottom of frame
5) Silicone sealant was not applied to exterior of window frames as he had promised when he visited originally.

The above points were put to Mr Glover and he assured us they would all be rectified within a week.

However, this did not happen. This man never returns messages or emails and is full of limp excuses and broken promises week after week.

Notably, he did not provide a guarantee for the work done despite being requested to do so more than once and his company is not FENSA registered.

It should also be noted that Viscount Windows' website was taken down not long after the work was done.

We gave Mr Glover fair warning that we would publicise our experience in detail if the issues were not rectified and as he has continued to ignore us we were left with no alternative and nothing to lose by warning others not to do business with this individual.

We have zero confidence in Mr Glover and we would advise anyone to steer well clear if he telephones you to arrange a quote in response to your enquiry. Asking for his FENSA registration number at the outset will suffice as Viscount Windows Ltd is not FENSA registered.

Avoid at all cost! - scammers!

This company is a scam- Avois at all cost!! They fitted the wrong door to a very poor standard and have since ignored all emails/calls. They took over half of the payment upfront and have failed to return to rectify the badly fitted, wrong door. They were full of reassurances and gave dates to rectify but never arrived. It has now been almost a year, and I have reported this company to Trading Standards and I am looking into legal advice.

This is an absolutely awful company

This is an absolutely awful company. I was introduced to them by another person having his conservatory roof converted and it was going ok so I invited Bill Glover round to look at mine, bit of high pressure sales later ( I need an order while I’m here or a repeat visit will be more expensive) anyway I ordered after advising him I have a box gutter and he replied no worries 70% of our jobs have box gutters. The bank initially wouldn’t release my deposit as they said we flag companies we have had issues with ( I should have cancelled the order then! ) we then had some incompetent fitters who are on cctv saying there’s going to be major leaks inside! The operatives are not employees but sub contractors, despite being told they were directly employed. First rainfall we had water literally pouring in… filling a gorilla tub in 15 minutes! They made visits to resolve but they basically didn’t have a clue what they were doing! It was trial and error, I suggested lining the box gutter and actually bought the liner myself and they then said they were going to do something else! An hour later they said they couldn’t do what they wanted to do and wanted to fit the liner again! They did and it still leaks. The water is also pouring through one of the outside lights they installed under the soffit, so the fitter put silicon all around the edge of the light… it’s an absolute bodge. I then found out the person who had recommended them also had a leaking roof too! Bill Glover has said on numerous occasions ‘Don’t worry we’ll sort it for you’ but they clearly do not have the competency! Now they’ve reverted to telling lies and failing to attend and I really feel sorry for any customers considering them hence this review and for me I’ve started legal proceedings! Don’t find yourself in this position… get accredited company to do your work… Check FENSA
