My experience with Vinted has not been entirely satisfactory. I recently started selling my personal collection of football shirts, but the system flagged my activity as commercial selling, which I believe is a misunderstanding.

Do not trust Vinted’s "Buyer Protection" fee. If their integrated shipping system fails to sync, you will lose your money and the item, and their customer service will completely ignore you.

I returned an item that was not as described to a seller in Finland. I dropped the parcel off at an Orlen Paczka locker using Vinted's integrated shipping label. The locker scanned my barcode, opened, and accepted the parcel.

Because of a synchronization delay between the carrier and Vinted, the status didn't update on time. Vinted's automated system assumed I didn't send it, automatically canceled the return, and released my funds (from my Vinted Wallet) to the seller.

I explained the obvious logical flaw to their support: If I was past the deadline, the locker scanner would have rejected the expired label and wouldn't have opened. The fact that it accepted the parcel proves the label was valid when I dropped it off. Their own support agent even admitted in writing that "the carrier accepted wrongly the parcel" – officially confirming a failure by their partner.

Despite this written admission and the fact that the parcel is currently on its way back to the seller in Finland (Tracking: 2102050502898), Vinted's first-line support just copy-pastes their "internal procedures" and refuses to refund my Vinted Wallet.

This is unjust enrichment. The seller now has my money AND is getting their item back, while I am left with nothing. Vinted is legally responsible for the failures of the integrated carriers they force us to use.

I expect a Senior Escalation Manager to review this case and issue a manual refund to my Vinted Wallet immediately.

Blocking people for no reason and in the same time sending messages to add more clothes

Really bad reach if you don’t pay, it’s basically brainless theyre already making money on the cuts.

I'll be honest. I started with your competitor, OLX. Vinted seemed too expensive and snobbish. But it's much simpler. I can sell and buy abroad. The system is more intuitive and people are more interesting. The only thing you need to change is the negative reviews when it says I can't sell something even though it was listed. For example, someone bought it and became unpleasant. It should be possible to cancel and return without losing your repo. The rest is fine.

I really like this app. It’s easy to find the items I’m looking for. I’m still learning how to sell properly, but overall I’m very satisfied with the experience.

They remove perfume ads immediately, but they haven't been able to resolve a request to remove an old message for 30 days. A terrible platform.

Customer protection is a joke, even if You were clearly cheated You still need to pay for a return postage.

The offers are poorly verified, with prohibited items available, and after reporting them, the only response I get is that the manager can't do anything about it. Simply blur the photo or assign a category to the prohibited items for them to pass verification.

I’m very excited about vinted, becouse it is a platform where I sell things quite fast. For someone impatient like me or for someone that will have his things sold right away it is a greit option.

I am a dedicated Vinted user with over 1,300 positive reviews and a 4-year history of honest trading. My account (casualtony) was PERMANENTLY BANNED due to a massive error in your automated system.
False Counterfeit Claim: I was banned for an item purchased at an official ADIDAS store. I provided the VAT invoice and receipt, which your support (Zyad) ignored without review.
Support Facilitating Theft: While blocked, I received a wrong item (a dress instead of sneakers) from a seller (fantasticlook). The seller ADMITTED the mistake and approved the return. However, Vinted’s technical error prevented me from generating a label, and support (Alina, Leonard) then released MY money to the scammer, citing my block as an excuse to ignore Section 14 of the T&Cs.
Vinted is currently violating the Digital Services Act (DSA) by refusing a human review of my evidence and misappropriating my funds. I am not a "fraudulent account" – I am a top-rated seller being punished for Vinted's technical bugs.
I demand a manual review by a senior manager, the reinstatement of my account, and a refund for the item I never bought.

Vinted has a lot of ways for the customer to scam the seller. I got scam 3 times totalled at around 200 USD. And then Vinted doesn’t let you respond and doesn’t help. There isn’t even any way to contact Vinted. Run away from this app.

I really like your platform. Thanks to it, I am able to sell many items, and at the same time find and purchase things that I truly like.

However, I do not understand your rating policy. I am concerned about why my seller rating is not 100%, even though every time someone makes a purchase, I ship the item immediately. In most cases, the package is sent the same day, often within 15 minutes after the purchase.

Given this level of responsiveness and reliability, I do not understand what factors prevent me from receiving a full star rating. I would appreciate a clear explanation of how the rating system works and what exactly influences the final score.
