Purchased a Groucho Style sofa that was advertised via eBay.
Managed to purchase the sofa direct at £450.00 off list price which was amazing.
Was asked to review by the company and am more than happy to give a 5 star rating.
Gorgeous sofa, £450 off list, delivered in 2 weeks, great comms, polite and efficient delivery. What's not to like.

A great shopping experience from the outset.
I only ever post a review if a company totally blows my mind or if they have me screaming with anger.
I required two custom made sofas due to size restrictions.
I had originally intended to purchase from Indigo in Matlock but was unable to do so due to the afore mentioned size issues.
I found Vintage leather sofas online and they appeared to be similar in design and quality yet offered the option of custom sizing.
I visited the showroom in Wales and was able to discuss and amend the Lush sofa to my exact requirements.
The sofas arrived in time and are of excellent quality.
A surcharge was payable to have the sofas custom made but the price paid was incredibly reasonable.

Taken delivery of two beautiful Danish sofas today and felt I had to review as every aspect of the purchase has been fantastic.

Having read a couple of reviews I was quite cautious prior to making the trip over to Wales. I need not have had any concerns. I can only assume the reviews to be scurrilous.

The simple reason for having to look anywhere other than John Lewis for this Groucho style sofa was colour. I required a vintage red leather which I simply could not find for love nor money.

I was able to see the Danish on display as well as a vast selection of leathers to choose from. We even were able to take a look at sofas being made which offered wonderful reassurance of authenticity in terms of country of origin. We had learnt that the Groucho was indeed mass produced in China.

We selected tow large sofas in English wine. The equivalent models in John Lewis were £3700.00 I paid only £3000.00.

Sofas were delivered within 4 weeks and are even better than we had hoped they would look in the chosen leather.

The delivery guys were fantastic. We had even met one of the drivers whilst visiting the showroom which was quite amusing.

If in doubt as we were prior to purchasing then make the journey to Bridgend.

I can not praise the company highly enough.

Stumbled across the company online.
Had originally looked at the Sloane sofa at Darlings of Chelsea in London.
We drove down to Wales to check them out as mixed reviews.
The showroom is tucked away on a trading estate and is part of a working factory.
It was superb to actually have a tour of the factory where the sofas are made.
Selection of sofas on display was great and being the actual factory we were able to discuss with factory staff the actual custom changes that we required.
The most amazing thing was that even with custom design, the two sofas that we ordered cost over £1000 less than we were quoted in London.
I can only assume other reviews to be salacious as we were welcomed and offered full access to all aspects of the manufacture process.
Take the time to go visit these guys, it was a refreshing change to see UK craftsman at work us you save thousands.
Sofas arrived within four weeks and are fantastic quality. Thanks to our new favourite company.... Have and will recommend.

We have used the company throughout Europe to provide sofas and chairs for all of the Sutton and Robertson refits. We went to the factory to discuss creating a theme of a "Gentleman's club" within all the UK high end stores.
We went with the Omega - Rocket - Soho ranges in Vintage aniline leather. The brief was met on time and the quality of the furniture is there for all to see in branches throughout the UK. We are particularly pleased with the London stores.
We have just used the guys to fit out the Spanish HQ and once again all sofas and chairs were shipped to Spain on time and without issue.

We had a nightmare with these guys as well. The furniture we bought was substandard and arranging delivery and recollection was a complete nightmare. They also botched the refund process.

In the end they gave us a refund, but I just check my credit card account today and they charged us again after the refund was taken and without us knowing about. It seems very dodgy.

I contacted them after being advised by my bank and it turns out that they have stopped trading and I need to get my bank to do a section 75 in order for us to get the money that they took of our credit card back.

If you have bought from these guys and not received your furniture my advise to you is to get in touch with your credit card company and get them to action section 75.

Beware there furniture is of a very low standard!

We bought a sideboard from Vintage Leather Sofas in July through Not on the High Street (NOTHS) website. We paid over £2000 for it. On 22nd August VLS contacted me to say there was a problem with delivery and as a good will gesture they would reimburse 10% of the cost. In order to do this though, they would return my money in full and I would have to pay them again (minus 10%) but would have to do it outside of the Not on the High street website. Alarm bells should have rung then. So I paid them direct. By 10th September (still no sideboard) they confirmed that the the company had been ‘restructured’ and they were having difficulty with deliveries of products. So after much correspondence they agreed to refund our money in full if by 30th September the sideboard had not arrived, or could even give us an indication of when it would arrive. It didn’t so they agreed to refund. The catch? we would have to wait 28 days for the refund in line with policy. They are wavering the made to measure costs (50%) of the full price. Thanks guys! It took them a couple of days to reimburse us when they wanted us to pay outside of the NOTHS website but 28 when it comes to full refund. Not on the High street have been supremely helpful in this process, thankfully. But beware of Vintage leather sofas, customer service is erratic, sometimes rude and definitely of concern. We’re still waiting for our refund sadly.

We ordered a London 4 + 2 str as we could not get this sized sofa from John Lewis within the Grouch range. We ordered blind on the internet having requested swatches.
We also decided to upgrade to goose down cushions.
We initially received a huge range of swatches to choose from and opted for the choco saddle which was the closest to the leather offered by John Lewis.
We were quoted a lead time of 6 weeks a time frame that was met even though I had been contacted by the company to expect a delay due to an internal reshuffle.
It is always a scary thing ordering online as you can never fully relax until the goods arrive.
The sofas have arrived and they are exactly what we hoped they would be and we could not be happier.
Quality is great and the leather is absolute luxury.
We are glad that we upgraded to the feather cushions as they offer a really great comfy sit.
Really happy overall and am glad that we decided to use an independent and support a small uk business. I am also very happy to offer great feedback and do all I can to promote this great little company. One very happy customer who wholeheartedly recommends.

Living in the Isle of Man we were aware of the limitations ordering on line this product. Always a risk buying without seeing and relying on photos but what arrived was even better than we had hoped for. Very comfortable, look fantastic and we'll worth the money. Contact on the phone and by email were always friendly and honest re our expectations.
Photos on the site are very reflective of what you get.
5 stars despite delivery times.

Was a bit dubious at first about buying from site as not seen sofa personally just images on site which was a bit risky but glad I did as the London sofa I bought exceeded my expectations,it's lovely,well made and very comfortable.
Only communicated with staff through email but they were always quick to answer any queries and always helpful,particularly Lucy.Delivery was a little problematic as live in devon so potentially had to wait a little while longer for a bulk delivery but the company arranged it so I could receive the sofa earlier in a on off delivery down my way which was good of them.
If you thinking about buying from the site don't hesitate!

Buying on line is not without its risks these days, and especially when you are buying unseen, expensive pieces of furniture. But an exception is Vintage Leather Sofas.
I recently bought a sofa and chair from them, and although there was a manufacturing problem with the sofa and I decided to change the chair for a larger version, I had nothing but the best of attention and consideration from their staff. The problem was dealt with quickly and the chair replaced immediately. Their customer care is paramount and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was really happy with my Portobello sofa from Vintage Leather Sofas. It looks lovely and is really comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough to help and guided me through leather and style choices carefully. I was really impressed with the style and quality of my sofa and delighted with the cost, especially when I discovered my sofa was handmade on order and not only that made here in the Uk, so I only had to wait 3 weeks. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Having searched extensively through all available furniture outlets I finally came across this small company. I found exactly what I wanted without a pressurised sales pitch. The owner was very helpful offering me a number of alternatives. Where can you go today with an idea in your head of what you want and then find someone who can actually deliver? I chose a beautiful classic leather suite which I received promptly. The suite was made in G B - a bonus - and the quality is out standing. I received lots of information from the owner on how to clean and look after the suite and was certainly left with the impression that I could get back to him if I experienced any problems. I have recommended this company to my friends and family and will have no hesitation in buying from them in the future

I would recommend Vintage Leather Sofas to anyone. The staff in the showroom were attentive, but not pushy and the furniture itself is exceptionally good quality and well made. The delivery was bang on time (1.30 on a Sunday!) and the driver was both helpful and courteous (he even helped me take out the old furniture out of my house). All in all an excellent service that I would thoroughly recommend.

We had been looking for vintage style leather sofas for some time but couldn't find what we wanted at a price that was realistic until we came across this company on the internet. We made the trip out to Nottingham to see the sofas 'in the flesh' and they didn't disappoint, nor did the friendly, helpful service. Whilst these are not the cheapest sofas on the market they are certainly not the most expensive and the quality, style and comfort is the best we have seen. The sofas were delivered in the timescale promised and they did not disappoint.
The service and high quality products delivered by this family business is second to none and I would not hesitate in recommending them.
