Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 49 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the products, describing them as poor quality, often stained, ripped, or generally in bad condition. Customers also felt the pricing was too high for the items received, leading to a strong sense of poor value for money, especially with "mystery boxes" and kilo sales. However, some customers also noted that the staff were friendly and helpful. Conversely, a few other people also felt that some staff members were rude and unprofessional when complaints were raised.

Bought tickets but event cancelled, no refund

Can’t review the actual market as when I arrived on day had been cancelled. Despite having pre-bought tickets, so they had my email address they made no effort to contact to advise had been cancelled (apparently due to lack of staff to man it). I have made contact for a refund, but currently not had a response and fear will not.

Get lost Gordon!

I came hear to say the same as everyone else. The clothes are not good at all and way too expensive. We did pick out a couple of hoodys and they cost £45 really not worth it they both had stains on which I thought would come out in the wash but they didn't. The man who served us was so rude so I'm guessing he is Gordon. We bought tickets too which it didn't seem like we needed or that he actually took them off the price of the hoodys like he was meant to. I hope more people can read these reviews before they waste their money and feel like I do. Ripped off. Get lost Gordon!

Scam company.

Scam company.

Charging for tickets online when in fact entry is free and unticketed.

Clothing on sale is either in horrific condition or are extremely cheap items with little to no value. Rails were also not restocked frequently and none of the mentioned brands in advertisments were present.

Do not shop here!

1 star is a generous score

1 star is a generous score. ABSOLUTELY shocking.

Bought a £100 mystery box. Never again. This is nothing but a scam. These places should be shut down. All items were in a terrible condition with no known brands within the box. Complete false advertising.

They said you’d be able to double your money. Every single item has been given to charity or put into the bin. Doubt I’d even be able to sell these items for 50p if I had tried.

Don’t waste your money.

I should've read the reviews before buying unnecessary tickets, that was my first mistake.
The second, was expecting vintage clothing fit for purchasing. Cheap Goodwill bulk stock & not much without holes, mould, bleach or god knows what stains.
'Gordon' likes to try asserting his dominance when you complain, very strange little chap.

The clothes weren't worth what they wanted

The clothes were old football/cheer/school/work t shirts potentially from America. Not much selection, the clothes were mostly not vintage at all!
Also alot of them had stains or rips or just in bad condition.
We went around 3 times and found maybe 5 flannel shirts that were okayish just thinking it won't be much and we would get our money back from the paid tickets price...£36 they wanted AFTER removing the £10.50 I had already paid....we left it..no way did those shirts equate for the value of £46 quid! The man seemed pretty pissed about us saying no to that price but I would rather find shirts in a bunch of charity shops then buy them from here!

Absolute scammers

Absolute scammers. My son spent his savings on a £25 profit box as he wanted to start reselling. Received a load of Absolute crap. Stained, faded and just general tat that wouldn't even make a fiver let alone the money back. Avoid at all costs. I will be reporting to trading standards as well as contacting his bank to attempt a charge back as this is a scam.

Scammed by Gordon

I'm so Angry with this company. I placed my first order with them 100 quid mix branded profit box. I received 10 items which were American university jumpers on H&M branded labels. Fake Tommi Hilfiger trousers X3 . 2 American work shirts with someone's names on them. There was 2 sellable items in the whole box.

I spoke to Gordon and he seemed nice on the phone and said he will send out another box as I've received the wrong one. I messaged him 2 days later and he said he'd sent it out.

I asked for a tracking number and that's when I got ghosted. No replies to me in 2 weeks now. Ignored messages on all platforms.

Total scammers.

Poor quality

Went to one of their Kilo Sales. Got home to discover one of my items was counterfeit. Good majority of the clothes were stained or had holes. Leather jackets absolutely stank. Managed to resell 1 item I bought out of the £50 I spent but not sure I’ll be getting my money back let alone any profit.

Only people making a pride on these boxes is Vintage Vera!!!!

I normally dont leave reviews but this so bad I couldn’t not leave one.

Paid £25 (plus £4.99 delivery) for the lowest box to test what this is like and the resale value is. To say the items are crap would be a massive understatement. I got faded clothes, i appreciate they are not going to be brand new but this was ridiculous, clothes were stained and the assortment I had, I would be flabbergasted if i made anywhere my money back, let alone a profit. I would stay well clear as you are never likely to make any profit on these boxes, glad i only went for the £25 one so i wont lose much money.

Only people making a profit out of these boxes are Vinted Vera

Don’t waste your money

If you are in the market for scruffy, unsellable, stain filled tat then vintage Vera is the place to go! Otherwise don’t bother as you’ll end up losing money.

Limited branded wear

Limited branded wear. No branded tops. There was some cool jackets if you were buying for yourself you may pick up something unique but a very expensive way to shop, you certainly could t make any money reselling at these prices

The UK's Worst Vintage Sale.

What a joke, absolute scam. This is how they get you:

1. Charge for tickets, yes it seems like a small fee, maybe one or two pounds so you think nothing of it.

2. All of their clothes are not vintage at all, they're all American College Football merch from universities you have never heard of, they're also all dated the last couple of years so hardly "vintage"

3. When you realise there's literally nothing good on the racks, they don't refund your ticket and they get to pocket your cash. (They don't require a ticket for entry fyi)

- I went at the earliest timeslot as well so not like all the good stuff was "taken" lots of people walking about muttering the same sentiment.

Genuinely, just go to normal Charity shops, this is a cowboy operation. AVOID!

USA landfill

Stains, rips, stuff with "october 5-8 2019" or "Alta mini hawks Preschool 2020-2021" written on it and shirts with $2.15 still on the tags. If you want random USA university hoodies and shirts this is the place for you.

If that's not your thing, don't worry! They have Primark, George (Asda) and next cerca 2015

If you want vintage, other than a VERY small selection of Levi's and some XXXL leather jackets with signs of terrible storage and neglect you'd be better off skipping the £3.50 entry and trying local charity shops.
