This is my second hair transplant with Vinci Hair Clinic, and once again, they have completely exceeded my expectations. My first procedure was back in the summer of 2017 in Malaga to restore the front part of my hairline. Nearly ten years on, when I needed to address the density at my crown, Vinci was the only clinic I trusted for the job.

​From the start, my experience with Sean during the consultation was fantastic. He was completely open, honest, and realistic about what procedure, coverage, and density would work best for my goals. That level of transparency gave me absolute confidence, and I booked my surgery for July 27th.

​I am writing this two weeks post-op, and I am wholeheartedly thrilled with the surgery and the care I received throughout the entire process. I went in expecting modest coverage, but the surgeons managed to far exceed what I thought was possible. They meticulously worked across every area that needed attention, paying special care to my crown, which had noticeably thinned, but also the middle part of my head, as well as adding some grafts the front, which is to add more density to what was already there.

​I’ve been taking daily photos since the procedure, and I am genuinely fascinated by the coverage they achieved compared to what I had initially pictured. Outstanding expertise, honest communication, and top-tier care from start to finish. I can’t recommend Vinci Hair Clinic enough!

Disappointing experience overall. I felt there was too much focus on selling the procedure rather than properly explaining what results I could realistically expect. I would strongly recommend speaking directly with the surgeon beforehand and being very clear about the number of grafts required. Do your own research and get a second opinion before committing, as I personally didn’t feel I got the value or outcome I was expecting.

It’s not often I feel compelled to write a review, but in this case, the service and care I have received from Vinci Hair Clinic so far has been truly exceptional.

Having a hair transplant wasn’t something I had ever seriously considered until relatively recently. After visiting the States, where I was bombarded with countless aggressive commercials claiming, “You don’t have to look like your dad!”, and hearing about a few people who had experienced successful outcomes, I decided to do some research of my own.

I eventually decided to explore Vinci Hair Clinic, as they seemed to have built a strong reputation. My first point of contact was with my consultant in Belfast, Mel. I was extremely nervous going into the consultation, as this was completely outside my comfort zone. However, after spending a good hour chatting with Mel, completely free of charge, I came away feeling much more informed, reassured and at ease about what I might be embarking on.

The next step was making the decision and paying my deposit.

As the surgery date approached, I received a phone call from Vinci about a week beforehand to confirm my appointment and go through what I should and shouldn’t be doing in the run-up to the procedure. A few days before the big day, I also received a call from my surgeon, Dr Amoha, who provided further information about what to expect and how best to prepare.

On the day itself, I actually felt pretty good, and I think that was largely down to Dr Amoha’s wonderfully calm and reassuring approach. She explained everything so clearly, using analogies that really helped me understand what was happening. I felt that she genuinely took a great deal of care and pride in her work, which gave me a lot of confidence.

I experienced a little discomfort from the anaesthetic and some temporary coldness, but other than that, I had no real pain or discomfort throughout the entire procedure.

After the rather tricky journey back to Belfast, Dr Amoha followed up with a phone call to check how I was doing, which was another lovely touch and showed that the care didn’t simply end when I left the clinic.

After 7 or 8 days of following the post-procedure instructions, I then received a call from Neil, one of Vinci’s senior consultants. We had a great video chat, during which he gave me some excellent advice regarding scab removal, as well as discussing some further options that could help support my new “hair plan”.

Once again, it felt like another member of the team genuinely taking an interest in my welfare and helping to keep the whole experience positive.

I’m giving Vinci Hair Clinic 5 stars because, quite simply, that’s exactly the level of care I have received throughout my experience so far. From Mel, to Dr Amoha, to Neil and the wider team, I’ve consistently felt supported, informed and genuinely cared for.

I’m obviously still on the journey and waiting to see the final results, but based on the care and attention I’ve received up to this point, I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

Vinci immediately distinguished itself from other clinics through its professionalism, responsiveness, and transparent pricing. My experience was managed by Neil McAleese, whose deep expertise and clear communication put me at ease. He took the time to explain every step, eliminating any anxiety I had about the procedure. His support continued throughout the aftercare process, where he remained thorough and patient in addressing all my questions.

I am incredibly pleased with my FUE hair transplant experience for both occasions from front hair line then the crown. The entire team was exceptionally friendly and professional. Dr. Amoha took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly at the start. As a returning patient who previously had the front addressed, I chose to come back for the crown, and Dr. Amoha did an excellent job harvesting enough grafts to cover both the crown and other necessary areas perfectly, she located and inserted the holes for the implanted grafts and also carried out a PRP treatment on the day. I also want to highlight the care provided by Muhammad Ali, who ensured I was comfortable throughout the surgery by providing refreshments and setting up Netflix so I could enjoy a film. He was meticulous in placing the grafts and ensuring complete coverage with the team ladies that were also very sweet.

My experience with Vinci is very much person led. If you get the right people in front of you then the experience is very positive. I would urge anyone considering a hair transplant to have a consultation with the surgeon who will perform the procedure (this isn’t a given unless you insist/request) so they can give you their honest appraisal. Try to be specific with the amount of grafts you want (I learnt the hard way with this) and I would recommend a minimum of 2500 grafts or you’re wasting your money and time. Do some research and try to be informed as possible as Vinci aren’t miracle workers and hair loss can be a very emotive subject for some. That way you don’t feel let down and you understand what you are getting. I hope this helps.

was very good, Sean co ordinated the whole thing very well, always replied to messages and called back when I asked. Nice chap,he enjoys his job even on the day of his holiday he replied to my texts and questions back. I hoped to meet him in person also.I can say we became friends more than clinet.. .bless him, he helped me to build up trust to the company a lot.
Price very competitive and reasonable, no complaints
The day of procedure was also very good, Dr Jen was a nice lady, and her team(Santos,Sanam,Nasreen,Sanaz) were also professional, and they went above my expectations of what I expected that day. They reassured me mentally very friendly ,The clinic itself is very nice and good welcoming at the reciptions.even she asked what I would like for lunch....
I was just worried about the staffs that why they dont cover thier shoes so asked for the manager,in a seconds Mrs ,Clara came to the room and asured me about the hygiene.....ecplained to me what I needed to hear.
I started at 8:30 am and finished at 4:30 pm.

Post procedure :
Vinci Medicare the day after rang me to check on me and asked some questions to see how I am and Sean have stayed in contact too ,so far so good,I will update this review or add more after 10 weeks ,Im sure they are and they will handle if anything goes wrong.

10/10 experience, I really enjoyed it. The procedure isn’t as scary as it sounds.
Had my consultation with Dario who is so friendly and he really explained in great detail about the procedure. He also calls to check up on you and see how you’re doing 2 weeks after procedure which is nice.

On procedure day the dr’s made me feel so comfortable and are really nice. The numbing injections are uncomfortable but not the worst pain in the world, Definitely manageable although there are about 10+ injections in donor and graft area it’s very quick and once the injections are over you will feel nothing. They do give a stress ball incase you need to squeeze while getting injections. Thanks again and can’t wait for the full results!

Fantastic clinic on Harley street, early days in my process but great experience so far.

From the initial consultaion Vinci stood out amongst the other clinics in terms of professionalism, attention to my concerns and questions, communication and to be honest price.
I was guided through the process by Neil, who clearly knew what he was talking about and worked with me to address my concerns and explain the process and the procedure thoroughly so that I knew exactly what was going on and didn’t have any anxiety as to the process.
On the day the clinic was easy to find. I was greeted by friendly staff right from the receptionist through to the surgeon and the entire team.
The premise itself was clean and professional. Dr Amoah was absolutely amazing. Clearly very knowledgeable and experienced and professional. She was pleasent to talk to. Very kind and polite and made the whole thing even easier.
During the procedure the team in the clinic were brilliant. Professional and friendly and I was at ease during the whole process.
Once I was finished all the after care was explained to me thoroughly and I left feeling happy about the day and that i’d made the right decision.
Now I am roughly 2 weeks post op and am happy with the results so far. The aftercare has been brilliant and they have continued to show an interest and communicate promply with me after I have paid and been out the door, which has not been my experience from other clinics when my Wife has had procedures with different companies. All in all I was more than happy with every stage using Vinci Clinics and would happily recommend them to anyone. Usually I only bother doing reviews when things have gone badly, but I feel they deserve a review for their excellent service and customer care. Especially from Neil.

My pre-procedure consultant was friendly, informative and took plenty of time to answer my questions and address any concerns, which helped put me at ease before the surgery.

On the day of the procedure, everything was fairly straightforward It took place during the summer heatwave and the clinic itself was pretty standard rather than anything premium or spacious, but the team were friendly, patient and professional throughout. The doctor designed my hairline quite quickly before making sure I was comfortable and beginning the anaesthetic. I wasn’t really introduced to most of the surgical team, and there were three or four different people working in the room throughout the day coming and going. That said, one of the technicians was especially reassuring when I became emotional about the procedure, and the whole team were kind and supportive. Although the surgery itself was largely painless once the anaesthetic had taken effect, it’s probably not an easy experience if you’re squeamish. During the day, I was given a 15-minute lunch break in a separate break room where the clinic provided a sandwich, juice and a snack. I was also able to listen to my own music through the TV in the treatment room, which made the long day feel somewhat more comforting.

Afterwards, the doctor clearly explained the aftercare I needed to follow over the next two weeks. I was given bandages and saline spray, but it’s worth noting that you’ll either need to pay around £400 for the aftercare package or source many of the additional supplies yourself. You will also be leaving with an exposed scalp, so make sure you plan your journey home in advance.

One aspect I have particularly appreciated has been the aftercare. Throughout the first week of recovery, both the doctor and my consultant have been responsive to any questions or concerns by email and text, which has been very reassuring. The recovery itself has been more uncomfortable than I expected, particularly the donor area. Sleeping upright and the constant stinging have been the biggest challenges. While these symptoms are normal, I think it’s worth mentioning them so that anyone considering the procedure has realistic expectations.

Overall, the experience felt competent and professional. For the price point, I’m happy with the service so far, particularly the responsive aftercare and the ease of contacting both my consultant and doctor whenever I had concerns. The procedure itself was well managed, and now it’s simply a case of seeing how the final results develop over the coming months.

I went to Vinci hair in London. The pre consultation was great. I spoke with Dário who was very informative, helpful and friendly.

On the day of my procedure. Ben (my surgeon) and the rest of the crew were very friendly, professional patient and polite with me. I was a little scared on the day but they were incredible from start to finish.

I am now 10 days on and I am
Feeling great and confident about the outcome of the surgery. I will check in again in 6 months but so far I have had no issues and would highly recommend.

I had a hair transplant with this clinic and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The donor area was left patchy, recovery was painful, and my concerns were largely dismissed. Overall, the results and level of care fell well below my expectations, and I would not recommend this clinic.

All of the staff are really nice and welcoming and the surgeons are great also. Sean who did my consultation was also an extremely nice person and made me feel comfortable within the first few seconds of walking through the door, couldn’t have had a better person to welcome me. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a hair transplant.

I had a fantastic experience with Vinci Hair Clinic from start to finish. The technicians were friendly, professional, and highly skilled, and the doctor was excellent, taking the time to answer my questions and put me at ease. I had my transplant procedure with Vinci Manchester in July 26 & I was incredibly happy with the service. Prior to the surgery day I spoke with multiple team members including Neil who explained exactly what kind of procedures they could offer, what I should expect on the surgery day and what kind of follow up care I would receive. As a result I arrived without any worries and feeling confident about the day.

On the procedure day itself I was met by Neil along with some of his colleagues and introduced to the surgery team. Dr Lurii lead my pre-op consultation - he wanted to know the reasons behind the transplant and ultimately what my expectations were. He then helped to design my new hairline which was done with precision. The final decision was down to me and I was happy with the design.

Dr Lurii then carried out the first part of the procedure which was creating over 3000 channels in my scalp, ready for the transplanted hair. The surgical team then extracted the grafts from the donor area and implanted them into the channels. I was comfortable for the whole day (the team topped up my anaesthetic when requested) and I even watched Jurassic Park while the hairs were being implanted.

10 days later and I’ve already had a surgical follow up from Dr Lurii (which came the next day) and a couple of calls from Neil to help me through my post op instructions. Most of the scabs are now gone & I can really see what my new hairline will look like going forwards.

Fantastic service and a big recommendation, 5 stars!

I waited just over a year before writing this review because I wanted to see the final results, and I couldn’t be happier.

From my very first conversation with Axel, I felt I was in safe hands. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and never made me feel pressured. He answered every question I had and gave me the confidence to go ahead with the procedure.

Having the transplant in London was also a huge advantage. It made everything so much more convenient and accessible, which really helped take the stress out of the whole experience.

On the day of the procedure and throughout the aftercare, I felt genuinely well looked after. The team were professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.

Now that the results have fully developed, I can honestly say they’ve exceeded my expectations. My hairline looks completely natural, the density is fantastic, and the boost in confidence has been priceless. Friends and family regularly comment on how good it looks, and most people have no idea I’ve even had a transplant unless I tell them.

Choosing to have a hair transplant is a big decision, but looking back it’s one of the best investments I’ve made in myself. A huge thank you to Axel and the entire team for making the whole experience so positive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a hair transplant.

Had a 3200 FUE in March 2026.. from the first meeting with Axel, the assessment by Dr Amoha and the actual procedure the journey was well explained and the results 4 months in are more than encouraging. Everyone in the Vinci team took the time to make sure the proposed hairline was appropriate and the whole operation went smoothly. As others have written the anaesthetic to the scalp is not pleasant but a very necessary part of the program. I stopped in unannounced to Harley Street to show them the process, and Dr Amoha was only too happy to have a quick unscheduled look to confirm that the transplant looked in great shape. This company is amazing I had my hair transplant at the vinci london clinic and the service and care was fantastic just simply wonderful the technicians did a incredible job with the implantations and Dr Ben was amazing to he gave me all the answers I was looking for about my new density I will achieve which will be high, also consultant Neil mcaleese has been incredibly brilliant with helping me with getting the best deals and realistic outcome and gave me hope in getting my dream full head of hair the previous clinic I went to for my first surgery wasnt close to being as good as vinci, I highly recommend vinci hair clinic london a very fabulous clinic
