Paid order, no part, no tracking
Paid order, no part, no tracking, and conflicting explanations from the seller.
I ordered a Polaris Hall Effect Speed Sensor and paid for the order through PayPal.
After the payment, I contacted the seller regarding shipment and tracking. I was told that a tracking number would be provided once the part was shipped.
After several follow-up emails, I was later told that the order had never been paid for. This is difficult to understand because the seller's own invoice shows the order as PAID.
I then provided the seller with information about the payment and asked them to check their records.
The latest response was that they had been waiting for the part to come in and that I should simply order and pay for the part again.
I am not willing to pay a second time until the original payment is properly explained.
I have contacted PayPal to investigate the transaction and determine what happened to the original payment.
My main concern is not simply that the part was delayed or temporarily out of stock. Delays can happen. The serious problem is the conflicting information about the payment and the request to pay for the same order again without explaining what happened to the original payment.
I am leaving this review so that other Victory motorcycle owners can be aware of my experience and carefully consider the payment and customer-service process before ordering.
I will update this review if the seller resolves the issue or if the original payment is refunded.
