Scammers!

Scammers! Do not book here!

We booked tickets for the Fc Barcelona v Espanyol game over 3 months ago, which were guaranteed (!) by Viagogo. That was also the reason we travelled to Barcelona. Even when the match was rescheduled one day earlier, Viagogo told us that the tickets were still valid and we could not cancel. The tickets that could be presented at the stadium were supposed to be delivered on the day of the game, and Viagogo explicitly guaranteed this as well. The day before yesterday - the day of the game - we were then informed 3 hours before kick-off that unfortunately the tickets could not be delivered. Of course, we had no way of getting replacement tickets at such short notice. Viagogo didn't offer us any other solution either. The disappointment is immense, the journey and the costs for nothing.

Bought a ticket for the weeknd and I am still waiting since 6 months for the ticket to arrive. Texted with several people from the customer service and everyone told me something different. This website is the worst reseller ever. At ticketswap they make sure to get the tickets first before selling it someone. This is the last time I am buying tickets at viagogo.

Very good help

It was unclear from the ticket selling organisation when we would receive our tickets. Viagogo helped us out very good and we absolutely can recommend them for handling your tickets.

SL Benfica vs Real Madrid CF

I sold tickets for the match SL Benfica vs Real Madrid CF (28 January 2026) through viagogo (orders 633038104 and 633454335).

After the event, viagogo cancelled the transactions claiming that the buyers were denied entry. However, I obtained official confirmation from the event organiser (Sport Lisboa e Benfica) that the tickets were successfully validated at the stadium entrance. The validation records include timestamps confirming that the QR codes were accepted.

This directly contradicts the claim of “denied entry”.

Additionally, before the event, viagogo contacted me requesting a clearer screenshot of the ticket, which shows that they had visibility of the ticket format and did not raise any issue at that time. The sale was allowed to proceed normally.

Despite providing all supporting documentation, including official stadium validation records, viagogo refused payment for the sales and also retained funds from subsequent transactions on my account.

Throughout the process, multiple different explanations were given (denied entry, invalid format, screenshots), which raises serious concerns about the consistency and fairness of the investigation.

I have fully cooperated and provided all requested evidence, but the issue remains unresolved.

I would strongly advise caution when selling tickets on this platform.

Very bad experience with Viagogo

Very bad experience with Viagogo. I travelled from Vienna to Barcelona only for this event, but my ticket still had not arrived even 2 hours before the match. This caused a lot of stress and uncertainty, especially because I had already spent money on travel and accommodation just to attend the game. In the end, I did not even make it into the stadium. Completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing service.

Its legit but price is inflated

I liked that from this website I have received the ticket, but the price was inflated. I mean the original price was around 6k for an IPL but i paid around 14k which is more than the double. I don't know how come they are getting tickets but we are not able to get it.

Unreliable: Missed delivery deadline and citing non-contractual "reviews"

I purchased a ticket for Orville Peck. The viagogo dashboard explicitly promised delivery by Saturday, March 7, 8:19 PM. That deadline has passed, and no tickets have been provided. Instead of honoring their "viagogo Guarantee," support is citing an opaque "review process" and "security checks" that are nowhere to be found in the Terms and Conditions I agreed to.

They have collected my payment but are now refusing to cancel the order or provide the service. This lack of transparency is a clear violation of the EU Digital Services Act. If you value your money and want to actually attend your event, stay away. I am now forced to initiate a bank chargeback.

Awful company, avoid like the plague

Awful company, I’d give them 0 stars if I could. I purchased x2 tickets months in advance for an event overseas, I was told I’d get the tickets 3 hours before the event but it got to 20 mins before it started and I was still standing outside without them, despite getting there an hour before the start time.

I contacted Viagogo to see what the issue was and it took over an hour of speaking to them on the phone and live chat to get the tickets released. By this point I had missed half of the event and so I asked for a refund as per their guarantee but was told there was nothing they could do to help further which I just think is terrible customer service.

We had an agreement that they failed to uphold and I have now paid more than the full price of the tickets, plus their service charges, to have seen only half of the event I travelled to another country to see, I will never use these scam artists again!

Very unreliable ticket resale platform

Very unreliable ticket resale platform. My experience with Viagogo was extremely frustrating and I would strongly warn others before buying tickets here.

I purchased two tickets for the Bad Bunny concert in São Paulo on February 20 (Order 636214973) for BRL 3,575.07 (€608.87), paid via PayPal. The seller never delivered the tickets.

On the day of the concert I spent hours dealing with Viagogo customer support. I was repeatedly promised that the tickets would arrive or that replacement tickets would be provided under the Viagogo Guarantee.

Then, 15 minutes before the concert started, I finally received a link for replacement tickets. When I opened it, it simply said that no replacement tickets were available anymore and that I could request a refund. After waiting the entire day and trusting the promises from support, I was left standing outside the venue without tickets and missed the concert completely.

What made this even worse: while waiting outside the stadium, I spoke with multiple other people who had exactly the same problem with Viagogo that night — tickets not delivered and no real solution from customer support. This clearly does not seem like an isolated case.

Yes, I eventually received a refund 72 hours later, but that does not fix the fact that the event was completely ruined and the customer service experience was terrible.

If you actually want to attend an event and receive your tickets reliably, I would strongly recommend avoiding Viagogo.
