While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

o not trust viagogo when buying tickets.
I purchased 4 “hospitality” tickets for the DHL Stormers in Cape Town. The confirmation email clearly stated hospitality, including food and drinks. These tickets were around 4x the price of standard seats, so expectations were very clear.
When we arrived at the stadium, none of this was included. We were given basic match-day tickets only – no hospitality, no food, no drinks, nothing remotely close to what was advertised.
When I contacted viagogo to complain, they refused a refund and said that because I didn’t complain on the day, I was only entitled to a 25% voucher. That is completely unacceptable when the product sold was not what was delivered.
viagogo allowed a misleading listing on their platform and then took no responsibility when it was proven to be false. Their resolution process is designed to protect themselves, not the customer.
Avoid at all costs. If you want peace of mind, buy directly from the venue or an official seller — not this site.
100% Scam! This site should be shut down. Why it is still allowed to operate is beyond me along with many many others who were scammed trying to get into an event in Cape Town.

Scam
‼️‼️‼️Viagogo ruined our concert experience and cost us much more than just the tickets. We traveled from Greece to Germany for the Billie Eilish concert in Cologne, only for our tickets to be cancelled last-minute — after we had already arrived. We had confirmed multiple times with their customer service that we would receive the tickets, but we received a cancellation email 30 minutes after the concert started.
Viagogo refunded the cost of the tickets, but refused to compensate for our other expenses (flights, hotel, phone calls) or the emotional distress caused. Their support offered only a voucher for future use, which we refused — we will never use this service again.
Viagogo does not take responsibility for their sellers or customers, and this experience has been both costly and deeply disappointing. Be wary if you consider using their platform.
Bought tickets on 30 Sep 2022 for a show scheduled 29 Apr 2023. Was informed that I'll get the tickets within 72 hrs. Still waiting for the tickets. Now they tell me that I'll have them at the latatest by 28 Apr 20223.
