Stop ignoring my emails

I have actually stopped attending the clinic because the service is so bad. I still have three treatments to go. I am trying to request a refund but despite emailing and leaving NUMEROUS messages (over the phone), no one can be bothered to acknowledge me. What great service.

Avoid going to VGMadispa

You get a different person treating you each time and for the past 2 years I have seen so many people it's ridiculous. Appointment got cancelled and I am now facing 14 weeks between appointments and already the results are fading and it is only the 8 week. And this is not the first time this happens.
I am at the end of my patience and they are refusing a refund.
Not to mention that after 2 years of treatments the results are absolutely not great.
Unacceptable behaviour and absolutely no response from them regarding getting my money back so I can go somewhere where there are appointments and continue my normal schedule.
Very disappointed, I'll advise people to stay away from them.

Regarding your reply, I have no clue how to get to your customer care and I would like not to have to see you in may after 14 weeks!! I have already booked with another clinic that has appointments. I am now sure if you understand that a 14 week gap means that the effect of my previous sessions goes away which makes you guys a waste of time and money and simply useless!!

absolutely dreadful

absolutely dreadful!
I paid for a course up front on the 28th February, £599. It is the 8th April and I still haven't got my money back. They cancelled my first appointment and I have been trying to get my money back ever since. Surprise, surprise no one will take my calls or answer my emails.
STAY AWAY FORM THIS COMPANY.

Two weeks after the London branch…

Two weeks after the London branch cancelled my appointment for the third time and I haven’t had an apology or any form of compensation. Don’t bother emailing the customer care address they proton here. I’ve not heard a peep out of them. It’s all for show.

It’s a scam!
I bough half leg through groupon thinking was a great deal and then after the patch test I bough 6 sessions for the other half leg .I spoke to the manager and I was promised to be booked every 5-6 weeks.Gone home and I noticed she only booked me for 12 weeks ahead.I send like 6 emails and I called them 3 times and I was promised a call back (off course it never happened).So the week after my patch test I went to do my first session I asked for a refund (I was refused the refund ) and I was promised a session after 5 weeks.
So I left thinking all gone well ,only to find out they canceled it the night before my appointment!
Now 3 phone calls and 4 emails later nowone called me yet to rescadule.

Kirsty at the Leeds branch was lovely and amazing. She made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. Will definitely be booking my sessions with her. Hair growth has been really reduced just after a few sessions. Really pleased with results.

Absolute sham artists

Absolute sham artists. They will take your money, cancel appointments and not even let you make appointments. I called everyday for 2 months trying to book an appointment and never got a single call back. It was only after i left a message saying I wanted a full refund did they respond. My refund was 'accepted' but 4 months coming up to 5 months later, not a single penny!! I have called weekly and keep getting told customer services will call me. I have emailed and called. Not a word. I read the reviews and thought all would be fine but I was so wrong. Not only financially am I out of pocket but the address had been ridiculous. DO NOT USE THEM. There are other cheap beauticians if you just look on Wowcher or something. These are NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

UPDATE: Despite their response to my post, by 16th May I'm still waiting to hear.

Kept cancelling appointment after…

Kept cancelling appointment after appointment always due to the same excuse. Staff shortage. Which would have been completely acceptable if it was a one-off incident. Although, it seems like a regular policy of the business. Their response to phone calls is poor as well as their availability.
If you cannot offer the services you advertise, then withdraw your advertisement.

Kirsty in the Leeds branch was amazing and a genuinely lovely girl. She made me feel so comfortable during my treatment. My experience has always been great with VGMedispa. The results from my treatment are really impressive so far- after only 4 sessions of laser hair removal, I have noticed a significant difference. Highly recommend.

Unpleasant and unprofessional

Only nice until you refuse to buy a £1800 package. Anna, who called herself area manager, took me in for a ‘consultation’ which turned out to be just a sales pitch to sell a package which was discounted ONLY that day and turned very unprofessional and irritated when I refused to commit to a package. Made a patronising remark as I was leaving. Very unpleasant.

Leeds clinic

I love this place! I had a bad experience with another Leeds salon Pierre Alexander who were very unprofessional. Vgmedispa have always been amazing friendly and very professional. Always feel on w high when I leave they are so lovely.

Manchester clinic

I have had a few treatments at the Manchester clinic. I am finally seeing some good results on my full legs and bikini. My therapist is Dee and she is always really friendly and professional. Makes me feel very comfortable during ever visit. Thanks Dee 😃

Inconsistent beauticians, patchy results

Percy Street salon has cancelled last minute on me twice and I have had to have long waits in between treatments. The beauticians have not all had the same training it seems - some of them ensure they go over every part of my leg and take their time, others speed through it, with no more than about 6 flashes each side of my leg leaving large areas untouched. When I have said something they have told me that's how it's done. It is so frustrating. I was not given protective goggles last time either and the beautician spent the whole time moaning about how tired she is because of her work.

Don't even bother wasting your money…

Don't even bother wasting your money (even if you get it on Groupon). The Fitzrovia clinic is a complete and utter waste of time. They've cancelled 99% of appointments i've had booked in with them the day before and i've then had to chase and chase to rebook. The treatments are also 1* compared to other places i've had laser hair removal. PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THEM.

Poor customer service, badly organised, a complete waste of money

In short, don't expect a regular treatment, good customer service, or to be informed of any changes to your booking. Unprofessional service all round.

I have paid for a face and full arms hair removal treatment at VG Medispa Poole over a year ago and I have only had a couple of treatments before the summer came, when I actually realised that the salon shut down without being notified. So, I wasn't even informed that my next appointment was not taking place. After a few unsuccessful attempts to contact the salon or the contact centre, I thought I had completely lost my money. Months later, the salon opened again under new management and they offered me two free sessions as an apology for the terrible customer service I had experienced months before. I did explain at that point that I would be happier if they refunded me the money instead of offering the sessions but they said they couldn't as it was an offer. The new manager reassured me that under her management, things are different and the appointments will be taking place on time. The first one was booked in December and things seem to get better. The next one was meant to take place on January 29th and they called up to cancel as the therapist was off sick. They managed to reschedule it on Tuesday 19th March (today), three months later after my last appt had taken place!! I wasn't happy at all as how does somebody expect to see results after such a long time? They had also confused my appointment for the 12th, which I had to call and clarify. Two hours before today's appointment, the manager called up to cancel again as the therapist was off sick AGAIN! She tried to reschedule it for the future and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, she offered an appointment today! At the salon, I did not get an apology. All I heard from the manager was that people go off sick and that she had to bring in an agency worker to do my appointment today as if it was a favour! She said that's the company's policy and because it's only her and one therapist at the salon, when people go off sick, things get cancelled. She added that thanks to her bringing an agency worker from time to time, things go smoothly at the salon. I explained to her that just because the prices at the salon are reasonable, customers should not get a 'discounted' customer service but she did not seem to bother. In the end and as I was leaving the salon, I confirmed with her that I was not coming back. No apology or refund offered. Just a fake face that put me off ever more!
The fact that they double-booked me for March 12th and March 19th (when the actual appt was) added more fuel to the fire as they sent me the email on a Sunday when the salon was closed so I couldn't confirm the mistake with them and as this clashed with a personal appt i had, I rearranged this at short notice to accommodate VGMedispa! In the end, they emailed me that they have double - booked me but it was too late!
I would not recommend this place to absolutely ANYONE! It's disgraceful, really!

It is with regret that I am…

Fitzrovia - Percy Street.
It is with regret that I am corresponding in this manner, unfortunately I have received an unacceptable level of service for 3 months now.
I received a telephone call on Wednesday 3rd October 2018, in which my appointment was rescheduled for a further 6 weeks to 22nd November 2018. This was most inconvenient and resulted in a 12 week interval between appointments. I was informed that there was a shortage of staff, with one member being on long term sick leave. When I attended my appointment, the staff were unaware of this being the case.
The service provider refused to laser my chin area (22.11.2018) as she claimed there were hairs present. This, as I pointed out was not the case and I am attaching a photo of the area in question. I pledged a complaint at the clinic and I was told someone would call me with 10 days, that has not happened and I am extremely disappointed with this level of service. At this stage having not been contacted in 90 days I am requesting a refund. VG Medispa, are in possession of a large amount of my money, which I expect to be returned to me by the end of the month, otherwise I will take further legal action.

THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME…

THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. DO NOT USE THEM.

They have cancelled any appointments I have. They have around £400 of my money and have failed to give me any appointments. The initial treatment I began in February last year for 6 sessions has still not finished because they cancel every appointment.

I have attended the salon in Percy Street, central London, twice when they have cancelled my appointment there and then. A queue of other women were outside with the same issue.

I have been trying to get hold of VG since January to get my money back and no one has contacted me.

Dear Sir madam,
I'm writing to complain about the service I have been receiving since I had first contacted with your company.
Around Oct 2016 i purchased 79 for 349 voucher from Groupon, for the aesthetic treatment at the Vgmedispa. On 22 11 16, I called your company and upgraded the original voucher to a nose enhancement with £200 paid on the phone. T, was the name on my confirmation email with my appointment details and payment receipt.
On the 20 12 16, I turned up for my treatment at your Fitzrovia branch and found that my appointment got cancelled by your staff, I did not get any notification. I was really upset but choose to make another appointment. Then, till summer, no appointment could be made due to lack of nurse who could do the treatment. I appreciated that your staff had put in so much efforts to get me an appointment. But I also tired of keeping calling back and not seeing any chances. On 30/6/17, your staff has sent me a email to confirm that the company still have my credit and it will never expired.
Now, it is 2019, I still couldn't get the treatment after 2 years. I have been very patient with the vgmedispa despite I didn't get what I was paying for. I really need my money back as it was never my fault.
I hope we will have the problem solve before I take further action.

Called their number, their staff told me she is not in charge and couldn't let me speak directly or have the contacting details of the company's department that is dealing with these kind of issues. She has promised that she would pass my massage to the refund team and get them to call me back before 5pm. I have been waiting for a week, now still got nothing.
What sort of company it is, wouldn't dare to face a complaint from a customer directly.
I'm full of anger now. I would not rest and give up until I got my refund.
I'm going to get some advice from Ombudsmen and Citizens Advice consumer service, then take it to the Small Claims Court. Anybody can advice me is there anything else I can do to help?
I will post this on all the forums if I can just to make people avoid making the same mistake and see if I can get more advice

worst customer service and reception staff

I have been going to Vgmedispa Fitzrovia for more than 1 year now and I've also referred the clinic to 3 friends that are still doing the laser. I am only going to this clinic because the laser is really good however I can't say the same for the staff. Reception staff is very rude with no empathy at all. My appointment was cancelled few hours before (whereas clients have 48hrs cancellation policy) and no one even apologised (it also happened in the past). My appointment has been rescheduled after 1 week (my friend 2 days later) and after my session I had to book the next one after 7 weeks because apparently everything was fully booked. However my friend got the next appointment after 4 weeks so I don't really understand on which basis they manage the agenda. The lady at the reception was very rude (Elaine was the name if I got the right spelling), no eye contact at all, I gave my feedback regarding appointment being cancelled and rescheduled after 1 week and that it's quite frustrating to have next appointment after 7 weeks. She made no empathy at all, nor apologise just kept saying this is what I can offer you, without even looking at my face.
The lady that did my treatment was over stressed saying she had such a busy agenda and she even did not have her lunch break and that lately they are working long hours without even a break. I felt like she was rushing during the treatment (not her fault obviously, she was very sweet and under pressure).
There are many more laser clinics out there, if you really want to make a difference you should change reception staff attitude otherwise everyone will run away as we feel like they are doing ourselves a favour, instead we pay lots of money for the treatments.
