This was a fabulous memorable experience from the moment we arrived they could not do enough for you. Marco was our guide and he was so knowledgable and passionate about the stunning place he was showing us around. We all had a fabulous time that we will remember forever. Excellent value for money and highly recommended ❤️

Had a great time thanks for the help…

Wonderful with arranging a Galleon Dinner Cruise. And got us a day that was sold out on other sites. They kept us up to date with notices.We had a great time on the cruise, will book through them again

Incredibly frustrating visit to…

Incredibly frustrating visit to Torcello. The page DOES NOT warn that tickets do not include entry to the Campanile, the basilica bell tower, a key and unmissable part of the visit. We undertook the 2 hr trip to Torcello from Venice only to find we couldn't go up because our Veneto inside ticket did not include the tower and it was too late to buy separate tickets (the tower closes 1/2 hr before the basilica). This really spoiled our once in a lifetime trip.

So much better than the other sites!

While I have not used my purchased tickets yet, the process to buy them was wonderfully clear and easy, especially compared to other sites. I'm assuming everything will work as planned, and it will have been a great choice to use Venetoinside for my tickets/reservations for Venice.

Very poor service

The tickets were 2 euro more than buying at the museum and the voucher was not accepted. A total waste of time and money.

I just ordered my ticket for Torcello…

I just ordered my ticket for Torcello Basilica for the 20th June 2020. It is quite easy to pay for the order, however, there is no clear information being provided while making the booking. After I received my voucher via email, I was surprised by the information printed on the voucher. It says that only printed voucher will be accepted, without this, the entry gate will not open.
I can not believe what I have read. Is it a joke? If I make reservation online, I should be able to use the digital version to enter the Basilica. Or the ticket office should be able to print out the paper ticket for me if I can show the email with voucher. If Basilica only accepts paper ticket, they have to mention this important information before selling ticket online. Otherwise, I could assume that Basilica is trying to cheat the customer. I will file my complaint to tourist office in Venice.

Don’t throw your money into water

We bought skip line tickets for St. Marco Basilica and when we went to the St. Marco square water was coming up less than 10 centimeters and there was only a line on the walking bridge to the Basilica. I asked a staff where the skip line was then she asked me to show my ticket and showed the last sentence ‘in case of high water skip line service would be suspended’. YOU CANNOT SEE THIS ON THE SITE BEFORE PURCHASE BUT AFTER PURCHASE YOU WILL BE NOTICED. I claimed this unfairness to the Venetoinside.com but they said the ticket could not be refund because the site worded that the ticket was no refundable. The point is that they have to show not only no-refund policy but also the risk of high water in advance to the purchase. They have so many high water but they do not show the risk. We not only threw money into water but also had to wait in a line to get into the temple.

Easy to use

Easy to use. Tickets to major attractions sent to your phone without the use of an app. In our case we were able to book last minute, but we were also well out of peak season at the beginning of November (though it was an Italian national holiday weekend - All Saints' Day). I would recommend to anyone visiting Venice.

Useful for some advance purchases.

Overall, I found the service helpful. It is worth noting that in some cases PAPER copies of tickets are needed, so do you need to purchase and print off tickets before you leave home and start on your travels.

Also, it can take a few hours for some vouchers to come through by e-mail, after purchasing. Allow for that.

Also, don't "over-purchase" stuff. Its fun (And free) just to walk around Venice and soak up the place, and you'll find more time goes on that than you think.

Traveling on ACTV, (Ferrovia to Murano) with extra luggage

I was very happy to hear that traveling to a hotel with an extra bag of luggage on ACTV from Ferrovia to Murano only required purchasing an extra ticket. I tried to get an answer from several other ticket providers and I never received a definite answer until I emailed venetionsidecom.

Do not choose this company for a water transport to hotel. STAY AWAY

I chose this company (paying more) for a private water transport TO MY HOTEL from the airport . The driver dropped us off at St Marks Square, not the Dona Palace Hotel as paid for and clearly indicated on the voucher/printed detailed document. I had my mother, who cannot walk well, so I paid to be dropped off at hotel. I showed the driver the receipt and he just threw our luggage on the dock, telling us ‘no’. I emailed the company and received no response. DONT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY.

we are sorry you were not satisfied with the service booked and can understand your point of view.
The problem arose from the fact that in Venice boats are not always able to reach the point indicated on the voucher, due to the particular morphology of this unique city. This means that many hotels located in Venice Island or Venetian Lagoon cannot be reached directly by water taxi because the are not equipped with special gateways on the water (called 'porte d'acqua') and your hotel unfortunately belongs to this hotel category. In these cases, the taxi driver has to drop off clients at the nearest pier, as we clearly specify both online and on the voucher issued after the reservation, but we guess you missed this important information.

As for the behaviour of the taxi driver, we agree with you that it was totally inappropriate and that he should have provided you with an explanation. For sure we will complain with him about it and will ask him to avoid similar mistakes in the future.
Finally, we have carefully checked in our database to understand if we replied to your request or not and actually we have found out that our Customer Care Team replied to your email on 30/8/2019, providing you the explanations mentioned above... If you wish, we can forward it to you once again.

When we arrived at the meeting place to…

When we arrived at the meeting place to find the boat for the dinner cruise, there were 4 boats. Each and everyone of them told us that they were not the boat! Not sure if our trip had been cancelled but needless to say we had no trip!! 290 euros wasted!!! Will NEVER book through this company again!!!!!!

I purchased discounted tickets to the…

I purchased discounted tickets to the venice natural history museum on my smart phone and received my voucher promptly. What I didn't realize prior to paying for and receiving the voucher was that it had to be printed on paper in order to be exchanged for admission at the museum. The emailed voucher stated a paper copy was necessary and that the electronic version on my phone wasn't acceptable. Being in a rental airbnb, I had no way to print the voucher. I ended up buying two tickets at the museum itself and my one day only vouchers were never used. I don't remember seeing a notice of the printing requirement ahead of purchase time, although I suppose it could've been there. Whether it was an oversight on my part or a deliberate omission on their part, I was out the 16.50 euros. I won't be using this site again.
