The story continues.... Customer Service and the process in ordering parts a nightmare. Pricing is all over the place. Very painful experience, and all they seem to be able to do is apologise, but no one seems to have a solution. I've left my contact details with the head office, after being transferred between departments. Still waiting to be contacted, with a solution. I would never have got these windows, if I had known how much of my time would be taken up ordering parts, and getting repairs.

Why only two stars. Normally I would give five; since 29 years we have 9 velux 808 and two smaller Velux windows in our roof in Flanders Belgium. All is still well and in working order. Also, friendly custom services in Velux Wavre Belgium.
BUT ; now the black little bushings on the hinges are worn and some are broken. Some opf our windows don't open and close smoothly anymore.
Sadly we can't replace them since VELUX doesn't deliver them in spare parts...
You can't expect us to trow away all these windows and place new ones just for this little detail ?
Is it possible to still have those delivered somehow ? We are willing to pay delivery costs as well off course.
In that case I could happily make this a five star review since the windows are of real outstanding quality and we have enjoyed them ever since 1995.
