It's never easy knowing when to buy oil. Is it a good price this week? Will it be better next? I don't know any other product where the price is unpredictable at the point of need, and so variable in the course of a year. The price is driven not only by seasonal changes and differences in uptake by the public according to temperature changes, but by world politics. How are we supposed to anticipate the decisions of Mr Putin, Mr Trump and Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud? How will the withdrawal of the fuel allowance have affected consumption and price? It's one big minefield. I find it helpful frequently to check the price of Value Oils on-line which we find is usually a little better than other competitors, sometimes significantly so. We feared the price in January would have gone sky high so were relieved to be able to buy at 58.9 for delivery in the middle of the month. Maybe other people do better but I was satisfied with that. The delivery man is always polite and efficient, never impatient with the lock on our tank, and he comes on time. I appreciate this good service from Value Oils. Any free samples?

Trustworthy and on time , good communication and understanding

Valve Oils are constantly competitive, delivery is always on time or a little earlier. I live on Exmoor, in a very rural location that needs delivery by a four wheel tanker, even with the extra charge I pay less than quotes from other companies.

My Family have used Value for years they never disappoint. They are very reliable and very helpful when you need assistance. They also are competitive and having a savings scheme to reduce the pain of ordering. Highly recommend.

Easy to order. Took note of informing when oil being delivered(tank needs unlocking). All done and before estimated delivery date. Happy.

I didn't get any notification or reminder about the delivery date apart from the initial on or before date when I ordered.
The lid of the oil tank wasn't put back in place properly after delivery and the cap blew off during a recent storm allowing rain water into the oil tank.
I just noticed it by chance a week after the storm.
Lesson learned, assume nothing and check myself after delivery.

Efficient supplier. Always delivers by agreed date - in fact, usually delivers ahead of agreed date. Better prices than some of its competitors

Terrible service. Would not recommend this company. The delivery driver sent a text to say he was a mile away then no order arrived. No communication and I was left without heating for over a week. After some rather stressful emails and phone calls half a tank of oil was delivered but not the full amount. When I complained they said my reader must be faulty which it was not. I have had successful orders with them in the past but this experience was so bad I’m going to change suppliers and go to the local company who are more expensive but 100% reliable. Beware - very stressful, cold and expensive experience!

I ordered oil a.month ago and it was due to be delivered on 17th January but did not turn up. Scheduled for delivery today 21st January and on checking told it would not be delivered today but next week. On past performance I somehow doubt it. Taken my money so couldn't care less. We are nearly out of oil and in our 80's. Would never recommend this company to anybody.
