Do not use Remanns
I ordered an engine from them and found out from the mechanic there was more wrong than an engine could fix so I called to inquire about cancellation 3 days after order was placed and 1 day after invoice was emailed. They sent me a cancellation authorization form to fill out and said there may be a 25% restocking fee but they could not confirm if I would or would not be charged for that. So I decided not to cancel. I DID NOT fill out or submit the form. About a week later I called to find my tracking number and they informed me the order was cancelled and they took my 25% restocking fee. I immediately called my credit card to dispute it. I’m still waiting for a call back 3 days later from Remanns.
Awful customer service. Awful experience dealing with them as well.
REMANNS ENGINES ARE A RIPOFF!!
REMANNS ENGINES ARE A RIPOFF!!
My Engine failed within 5 minutes after being installed!
My Mechanic called to tell me my new Engine Blew a Head Gasket. Paid a Grand to have him fix it because I wanted to "Hit the Road" starting my Nomad Dream of Retirement.
4 3/4 years after Instalation @18,000 miles, the Engine had a Catastrophic Failure.
WARRANTY EXPIRED: The 5 years starts when they get "Payment". Two months shipping, 3 months in the Q and 1 month to install, My Loss!!
I'm 73years Old and Homeless!!
(Too Old to go POSTAL)
They have multiple names/law suits
Trash company. They lie about evertything, their customer service is terrible. They also own other companies (es engines for starters) so be careful. DO NOT USE THEM!
Google them and lawsuits. LOTS OF THEM.
I bought a engine from remmans engines…and their warranty is ATK engines
I bought a engine from remmans engines it was a defect or a problem with my mechanic either or both of the parties try to blame me I don't care if the engine blows or it came defected so remanns engines turn it over to warranty they department ATK engines out of TX all said and done my mechanic had to swap back out the one it was defected or if he messed it up I had to pay upfront 3400 which remanns engines warranty say they pay up to $90 an hour but they left out that they're not going to go over 21 hours but anyway you cannot find a mechanic a Chevy dealer a Ford dealer Honda dealer will put a engine in for 21 hours * 50 that's $1,000 they got to be s they pay reimburse me from the labor and the fluids only $1,000 and I had to pay my mechanic and had receipts because if you do it yourself you messes up the warranty so that's a scam because they should pay as much as the shop charge me I shouldn't be out of no money except from the original purchase of the engine and you have to pay up front so they can send the cord back but if I knew a machine shop I would have kept the core and got the rod fixed and sold an engine instead of giving them back an engine I should have kept the core because they sent the engine before they got the defected engine bad so learn from my mistakes if you mess with these companies make sure that you get all the details that cuz they made it look like I will pay the mechanic and they were going to reimburse me for what I paid out of pocket so I initially paid $2,300 for the engine and then I had to pay my mechanic 3400 so that's a total of $5,000 or more I had to pay on a $2,000 engine that's and their warranty is ATK out of Texas I think warranties is a scam and I think these aftermarket places is a rip off I will never use these reman companies ever again in my life and I hope the BB c files a suit against fragile commercials talking about 5 years eliminate warranty labor and parts and labor that' they're not going to pay no more than $1,000 they are rip off I hope they get sued and put out a business and if you want to contact me so we can talk about it my email is let's talk about it because I'm thinking about squabbling this situation between both parties because I shouldn't be out of two more $2,000 then the motor was bought so basically I pay $2,000 for the reject motor to be put in in another 3400 for the engine they sent back plus the price of the engine I could have saved a $2,000 and bought a brand new engine from Chevy because a brand new engine from Chevy cost $10,000 but their product is guaranteed if the engine messes up I know I wouldn't have to pay more money to get it fixed these people are crooks I hope it comes a day of this company gets sued cuz I just want my $2,200 back from him not that I spent paying up front to my mechanic they should send the engine and send a check with the engine to pay the mechanic I shouldn't have to come out of the pocket for nothing because it's not my fault it's the customer is always right

Don't Buy From Them!!!
My mom ordered an engine for her granddaughter's 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Upon finally receiving it, we realized it was the wrong engine. We contacted the warranty department immediately. After many phone calls, we were told that the oil pan just needed to be moved. The old engine had a shaft going through it, but the replacement engine did not. They finally agreed to take it back. They did do a refund but charged us a 25% restocking fee and freight both ways. We are highly dissatisfied with this company and will NEVER buy anything from them again. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, so we will see how that goes....
A review not purchased.
After waiting almost two months to get the engine I ordered, it was not in good condition and had to be returned. It took almost another month to get that engine replaced. Within six months of being replaced the new engine failed. They also use out dated standards for their warranty such as, oil changes every 3,000 miles. They setup bunch of hoops and nonsense to make it nearly impossible to hold them accountable for their poor business practices and incompetence.
Sold me a transmission with a cracked…
Sold me a transmission with a cracked case, refuse to honor their 7 year no hassle warrenty. Do yourself a favor and do a quick Google search and read the reviews. Avoid remmans.com and thier many llc.. that they scam people thru.
Stay away
Stay away. I purchased a transmission for a 2011 Subaru Legacy. The Transmission is clearly defective. I contacted them and no response. I will never order any products from this company. Now I am stuck with a $1500 defective part.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! On 4/25/23 I purchased a used motor from this company for a Jeep Patriot. The motor I was quoted was supposed to be an excellent motor with approx. 9,000 miles on it with a 5-7 day estimated shipping date. The motor itself was not shipped until the end of May. When I finally received the motor it was not for the vehicle I gave them the VIN # for and the motor was not an excellent motor. It had water damage and the spark plugs left in it showed way more miles wear than 9,000. I filed a warranty complaint. Called the company multiple times and eventually after being told they did not have the motor I was quoted they sent me an email with a shipping label to return the motor. I have reached out to this company multiple times via phone and email for my refund. I have filed a dispute with my bank, however the bank has been unable to help. I finally spoke to Rev in the warranty department who asked me to send the paperwork saying the bank closed the dispute and then they would be able to issue me a refund. I did this on 8/21/23. Still not reply. I resent the paperwork on 9/1/23 via email. Still nothing. I called again the other day and spoke to Rexi from the warranty department, who promised to escalate this to the warehouse and said I would get an email or call me within the next 24 hours, but no one ever has reached out. Five months later, after multiple calls, emails, complaint to BBB and threatening a lawsuit I was issued a refund.
Ordered a engine that was to only have…
Ordered a engine that was to only have 46,000 on it looks like it has more than 200,000 think I have been ripped off engine is probably junk going to check it out before installing.
Rip off experts
Rip off experts. Wrong transmission shipped to me. I refused it because the transmission received is for front wheel drive. I ordered ram transmission 8hp70. I requested a full refund of cost of transmission and shipping (lift off of truck). This is second time they messed up this order. First my transmission was lost. Then sent wrong one. Also transmission has a tag at top that says “sold to wagoner”. My name is not that. I called many times. They would give me the run around. Made me fill out warranty when I should just get refund. If I asked to speak to supervisor I would get hung up on.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Did not warranty thier product
Did not warranty thier product. Do not use this place.
These guys are worthless
These guys are worthless. Shipped a bad engine that clearly had been through trouble shooting and badly missed on one cylinder. I asked for a refund they shipped a replacement engine the wrong year.
I bought a used engine elsewhere and had it installed. Five months later still trying to get a a refund.
Terrible Experience… Reaching out to BBB
Have to agree with all the terrible reviews. One their website only display 5 star reviews and exclude all other reviews.
I ordered an engine that was supposed to be an engine block and cylinder head, fine. They then tell me the part was not that at all regardless of what their website says.
I ordered the part and then they called to tell me the part wasn’t correct. I’m going to complain about this company to the better business bureau.
The sales associate had no knowledge of anything and mentioned he had placed my order in a queue and I could complete online… but I had to reenter all the initial information.
Now I’m sitting on the phone with customer service and I don’t anticipate this will be resolved with any level of professionalism.
I paid for a part and as opposed to providing that part their solution is to seek to cancel the order two weeks later.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I just had to report them to my credit card company for fraud. I paid for a motor over a month ago despite being told it would only take 10 days to be delivered and every time I call in they have no idea where it is. The invoice number is 419334 in case anyone there cares to verify what I have written.
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!! MAJOR SCAM ARTISTS, CHEATS AND LIARS!!! I ordered a used and supposedly 'Tested' automatic transmission from them in early April 2023. It arrived in early May and was damaged. I went back into their web site and filled out their application for another transmission just to verify what I saw and was told by their Sales Department. Here's my last email to them after they declared my warranty void.
It is truly amazing that USED.REMANNS continues to find these transmissions with "~60K miles" on them! *Lie Number 1!* Is the approximate ('~') anywhere from 60K to infinity because the transmission I ordered in April and received in May was supposed to have approximately 60K miles on it.
After the USED.REMANNS transmission installation - when cold it wouldn't move the car (in Drive/D5 or any gear) unless the engine was revved. Then it would jump into gear. The USED.REMANNS transmission would not put power to the wheels at all once the operating temperature was reached. Your company advertises that all Transmissions have been tested. **Lie Number 2!** It arrived damaged, the clutch packs burned out and NO proof it was tested prior to being shipped to my mechanic's ASE Certified repair facility. To say the very least - this is suspect. But with an overall review rating of 1.4 out of 5 and hundreds of reviews on record plus an 'F' rating from the Better Business Bureau, this should have been expected. Unfortunately I did not do the research on your disreputable company prior to ordering.
Then of course USED.REMANNS refuses to honor the 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. ***Lie Number 3!*** This is because my mechanic did not specifically list the transaxle fluid cooling reservoir filter change which he did state generally on the original invoice, Quote: "REMOVED ALL DAMAGED COMPONENTS FROM TRANS PROBLY CAUSED BY SHIPPING AND SWAPPED OVER CUSTOMER SENSOR AND PARTS". Yes the filter was replaced and yes I supplied the new filter. That's why it is not listed on the invoice along with the fluids.
I purchased a used engine on Feb 27th…
I purchased a used engine on Feb 27th 2023 for a 2007 Dodge charger for 3100.00. Upon shop receiving the engine noticed the engine had excessive rust and long story short, we requested for a replacement engine from warranty. Everything took forever and they aren’t very transparent. They give you the runaround a lot. So fast forward to June finally talked to someone in warranty and confirmed engine was back at their warehouse a month later because engine was picked up in early May. I was told the engine did not pass inspection and that I would be getting a refund as they did not have an available replacement engine. They would not confirm amount being refunded or offer a refund receipt at all. I look on my credit card activity and notice that they only refunded me 1435.00 out of 3100.00, so upset that people will literally rob u and not feel bad. I filed a dispute with my bank for the remainder 1665.00 they owe me. Will keep ya’ll posted. Wish me luck and do not buy from these guys. No empathy or remorse and will lie to u about everything.. beware
Update July 15,2023
I filed a dispute as I was only refunded 1435.00 out of 3100.00 I paid. I lost the dispute because they lied. When I returned the engine I was told the engine did not pass inspection and they did not have a replacement engine to send me so they would refund me my money. They told my bank they may I returned the engine because I didn’t want it which is not true I returned it because it had excessive rust. Also don’t use synchrony bank they won’t help you and side with the criminals.
Bought an engine for a 2016 Jeep…
Bought an engine for a 2016 Jeep Compass that was supposed to only have 13,000 miles on it. During install we found exhaust manifold bolt holes had been drilled and tapped, the vvt solenoids were clogged and not working properly and had to be replaced and it had a head gasket issue leaking into cylinder 2 causing a missfire on every cold start and of course consuming coolant. I called twice over a 2 week period everytime I was told I would receive a call from a supervisor and I never did. Everytime they said they would transfer me to one, the call was disconnected instead. I am goign to file a complaint with BBB and dispute the charge on my credit card. I asked how the validate how many miles the engines have and they couldnt provide an answer, they wouldnt give me the vin number from the source vehicle and from what I can tell all they do is sell you the engine then go to junk yards and buy an engine from them and have the junk yard ship it straight to you without Remanns ever having seen the engine or having verifide the miles in any way. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! No matter how good the deal seems....
