Great, ethical, honest company. Bag came super quickly after purchase and I absolutely love it!

These UPSO bags are smashing. I have a few of them all for different occasions and they fit the bill perfectly. Well made and the carbon footprint of them is really good compared to other similar type bags. Every bag I’ve bought I’ve been really pleased with.

So happy with my new bag- delivered in 2 days which I’m really impressed by!!

Great communication with the company. Very fast delivery, well packaged. And a fantastic product! Such a great idea and you’ll have a truly unique bag that is environmentally friendly reusing existing materials that won’t end up in land fill! What’s not to like?

After 30 years of cycling in London for work, struggling on with the rubbish canvas panniers I’d always had where my clothes would get wet in the rain despite the ‘waterproof’ over cover, I thought it about time I invest in a decent pannier.

I spent a long time researching different ones, I even bought one leading brand and sent it back because it just wasn’t quite right.

Then I came across UPSO and was struck by the funky designs and how sturdy looking they were. When I read that they are made from recycled truck tarp and fire hoses, I was hooked!

I wrote to them asking if any of their panniers had a pocket as I felt this was the one aspect they lacked. I got a speedy response explaining they don’t do pockets in the panniers so I decided I’d get a top bar bag to go with a pannier, which I felt would make up for the lack of pocket and would be a great solution to short journeys when you just need keys and phone.

But when I came to order, the bag I’d had my eye on had sold! I wrote again asking when more bags would be uploaded as the one I liked had gone. To my amazement, they replied immediately asking which one I’d liked as they could make another from the same tarp. And what’s more, they would do a top bar bag to match!

I could not believe my luck. How lovely and accommodating of them! As I had said that the addition of a pannier pocket might be something they could consider in the future, I was further shocked to be invited to speak to the seamstress to discuss options! I had a lovely chat with Debbie who agreed to add a front pocket for a small additional fee.

I was absolutely bowled over by the responsive and accommodating approach of this team. Finding a company that treated me like an individual, listened to my feedback and accommodated my requests was - in today’s world - surprising, remarkable and heart warming.

When my bags arrived, I didn’t know what to expect as I had essentially bought with the exact design unseen. It could have been a disaster… but no! The bags were SOOO much more beautiful than I had expected! And matching too! I couldn’t wait to show them off. Everyone at work had heard me squealing with excitement over how lovely UPSO were to deal with. Probably thought I was mad, but were then very impressed when I presented my new bags! All my friends who cycle have said they’re jealous of my bag set and want some for themselves. I’ve even been stopped in the street to be asked where I got them.

To have got a bespoke, unique set of bike bags that tick all the practical boxes as well as the aesthetic ones for just £125 the pair was astounding. They’ve not had to withstand a torrential downpour - yet - but I feel completely confident that my clothes and laptop will be safe and dry when that time comes.

The pannier is roomy enough for all my stuff: I carry emergency waterproofs for my legs and feet, lunch in a Tupperware, a change of clothes, laptop and diary. The pocket houses my spare battery and cables. I could fit my phone in it but as the material is so robust with not much give, it’s a bit of a squeeze. I much prefer the phone in the top bar bag now anyway. I’ve never had one of these before and I love it. I can fit my phone (I have an iPhone mini but it also fits my son’s iPhone 11 Pro), along with keys, some tools I use for work and my bike lights. The attachment on the back of the pannier is secure, locks into place and releases in one motion when I pull the top strap to remove it from the bike. It s also stands up on its own, tall and proud!

I love these bags, this company and the ingenious reuse of such hardy materials. A definite gleaming five stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have several UPSO bags - the fantastic Tebay Top Tube Bag, a Medway messenger bag and a small Potters pannier. All are very well made and really useful. Customer service is excellent- after several years when the zip handle on my Tebay bag broke I contacted UPSO to see if I could buy a spare part - they sent me the replacement part for free.

Upso sells your data to third parties. After I bought from UPSO, I have been receiving a lot(!) of pishing/spam emails.

Order a cycle pannier bag on a Saturday. It arrived on Tuesday.

The bag is a great quality item and feels like it’ll last my commutes for many a year.

The fabric feels really heavy duty. The stitching and straps also feel like they will last.

The bracket to fit to my rack also feels very secure.

It’s also made in the uk so great to support a uk business.

There’s a really nice touch that the lady who made the bag put her name on the tag - Thanks Debbie - lovin your work.

Finally price - I think it was decent value for a quality bag !

Would certainly buy another one if there was a need !

I ordered the Stirling bag and it arrived a few days later no problems. All the stages of purchase were clear with a well set out invoice.
The bag is excellent as a bicycle tool bag. I take groups of cyclists out and so I need plenty of tools to cover all situations in case of breakdowns. For mountain bike leading this bag gets packed into the bottom of my backpack. With the Stirling bag material being so thick none of the tools stick out and dig into my back.
When leading gentler rides on my hybrid or touring bike the Stirling bag is fantastically versatile, attaching to lots of different places, as needed. It works well tucked under the saddle and in the bottle holder too. It also ties nicely onto a bike rack. The groups I’m leading are always asking about the bright colours I’ve chosen and I’m delighted to tell them the UPSO lorry tarp story.
Top tip: a bicycle spare innertube fits nicely in the lid especially the vacuum packed inner tubes from Halfords (other makes available). There’s often plenty of space in there after the tools are in so fill out the remainder with a clean rag or tissues or even wet wipes, all incredibly useful if someone in your group has a breakdown (or their bike has one). :-)

This company is fantastic. Their products are incredibly well-made, and all from upcycled materials. Their customer service is second to none.

Great pannier. Looks fantastic, used repurposed materials, clips on and off in seconds, fits my work bag inside perfectly, solid and secure when riding (I do circa 100m a week). Love it. And since they are recycling lorry tarps each one is unique.

I love the unique element to the products from this local company coupled with the recycling part which is all important these days. Ordered my bag and it arrived within a couple of days. Over the moon with the quality and the feel of my new bag, coupled with the fact that no one has one the same or ever will. Brilliant.
