I bought an Ampere Deluxe 26” from UK electric bikes on their August 2024 open day. I was given helpful advice by Marcus on which bikes would suit my needs, and was able to try as many as I wanted in a roped off area outside the shop. There was no pressure or rush in spite of the number of people there. My bike was ready for collection within about 10 days, although we had told Marcus there was no rush as we would be on holiday.

Very helpful when looking at getting my first ebike, to mostly be used for commuting. We discussed several models and was given the opportunity to try out the range, although the Oxygen models were ones I was drawn to. Great build quality and good power for the weekly range I'd be doing. Personable and knowledgeable it didn't take long for me to make a decision with them and quickly arrange through the Cycle to Work scheme which slashed the cost. Had the bike just one week and I can't be without it. For a considered purchase it's not something I would be happy buying online so pleased I found these guys and the support they've given already has been valuable.

I rented a Whisper e-bike as I am recovering from a knee op and wanted to do a 70k Sportive. The guys gave me a 700-watt battery and despite doing over 950 metres of climbing I still have half the battery left at the end. The service was great and they were very accomodating. Grea place to rent an e-bike.

Excellent and helpful service. Bought a European made Venta bike and very pleased with it. Delivered to our door 20 miles away after a couple of days.

I bought a Volt Pulse X bike costing £2000 from these people.
Had a issue with the rear wheel spokes coming loose and the wheel buckling, the bike went back for repair, almost two months later after constant ringing i got my bike back, delivered to a pickup point half way between my home and there shop.
Upon riding the bike home, half a mile into the journey I notice the speedo not registering, when I got halfway home ( 6 miles ) the power completely cut out. This now left me with a 6 miles journey through very tight and hilly lanes pushing the bike because they are unridable with no power.
A very dangerous situation.
The reason why I had no power was because they had damaged the hub power lead socket pins, they also had repaired the wheel rim to a very poor standard which had to go back for a second repair. To Volt Bikes direct.
Other things not right, spacer missing on wheel spindle. Inner tube locking ring missing and they couldn't even be bothered to put the valve dust cab back.
DO NOT BUY A ELECTRIC BIKE FROM THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE
