Intrusive Security Guard at the Universitätsblibliothek Freiburg (University Library) Freiburg

The University Library (Universitätsblibliothek Freiburg / UB) Freiburg appears to be under strict surveillance, and the staff behaved in an unfriendly and unhelpful manner. Female visitors were subjected to intense scrutiny, even though no rules had been violated.
The security guard was unfamiliar with the Universitätsblibliothek Freiburg’s regulations and was perceived as intrusive.

The staff failed to take me seriously when I complained about the harassment I experienced from the security guy. Instead, the UB staff sided with the security guard and expelled me from the premises.
