Bad never again

14hours flight
- no Entertainment System but screens available
- very very little bit of food with water. / taste horrible, like plastic- no vegetable food -
- super cold in the plane, so you have to buy a blanket. (not included in the flight)
- when you want to buy extra food or drinks, or the blanket, they don’t accept debit credit card. Only pure credit card.

So in total: 14h flight - no entertainment, in the cold and no food, and cannot buy anything to make it better. Never had so Bad Experience.
For example emirates: free blanket, free sleept equipment, free soda drinks, cafe or tee, to the good tasting food.
And payment via debit credit card, like everywhere on this world.

Never again.

Pls change it, it’s so simple…

Extremely bad experience as we were…

Extremely bad experience as we were travelling from Seoul to Vancouver which is a 10 hour flight and they did not have any food containing Chicken or Vegetarian food. They only served food with Beef and Pork which we as certain community do not consume. So we were left with not being served anything during the entire flight of 10 hours. They are also not well trained in Vocal English as they were not understanding what we were saying. This is an International carrier and you are serving only to your people. We have paid for the fare too and we were treated very badly. I had a very bad experince.

I got scammed by Tway Air

I bought a business class seat and needed to change it. Due to an error code on their system, I was unable to make my change online. I attempted to contact them through their contact form several times with no reply. I found a phone number and called at least 10 times at different times of the day. At the end of the day, I had to book a whole new ticket home and double paid. Unbelievably horrible customer service. DO NOT fly with them.

Terrible experience

I had such a terrible experience with Twayair. I flew as a family of 4 with 2 kids from Dad-Incheon, they canceled the flight without a reason. We have tried to contact them so many times to refund the tickets, they never got back to us. Just silence, absolutely awful. I would avoid this airline at any cost.

No screens on a 15h flight!

Bought Paris Seoul flights for 850e, so not particularly cheap. Hadn't realised it was a low cost company. It was a 15h flight. There is no in-flight entertainment ( the plane is equipped with screens but they are off). The food is extremely minimal, no tray, only one dish, not very nice, and a glass of water...No juices /sodas /alcohol or coffee.
On the way back, which was a day flight, they shut down the blinds, so we spent 15h in the dark, so we couldn't even read a book. The longest flight ever!

T'way air is not a good flight airlines…

T'way air is not a good flight airlines for cyclists.

I used their service for the 1st time and it'll be the last. As a cyclist doing a world tour around the globe, I took a flight ticket with T'way air and it was impossible to reserve a place for my bicycle on their application or by phone. By phone they told me it will be 2000 jpy/20000 krw but at the check in desk, I paid more than the price of my ticket flight. T'way have a lot of financial problems I saw afterwards.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

T'way Air: When Budget Savings Turn into a Customer Service Nightmare

My recent experience with T'way Air was extremely disappointing. On February 7, 2025, my flight from Jeju to Gimpo was canceled due to adverse weather conditions. While I understand this was beyond the airline's control, T'way provided no assistance or compensation for additional accommodation and meal expenses.
The following day, February 8, my rescheduled flight suffered a significant delay, causing me to miss my international connection in Seoul. This resulted in substantial additional expenses, including a new flight ticket, ground transportation, and accommodation.
Most frustrating was the complete lack of customer service and support from T'way. There was no attempt to help or compensate for the inconveniences caused. Communications were non-existent and, when I finally managed to contact them, they were unwilling to collaborate or offer solutions.
As a student, these unforeseen expenses have had a significant financial impact. The lack of empathy and professionalism shown by T'way Air has been deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend this airline and would suggest other travelers consider more reliable and customer-oriented alternatives.

The worst flight company I ever used…

The worst flight company I ever used for long flights. Was going Spain to Korea 12 hr flight. Flight was delayed almost an hr. No wifi, entertainment systems didn’t work, seating was so extremely tight that my knees were touching front seat in complete up right position. They didn’t provide any vegetarian food option, didn’t accept apple pay to pay for food or drink inside plane, and didn’t accept debit cards so I was sitting in pain, hungry, bored and impossible to sleep due to seating position. On top of that for some reason they blasted heating so it was so hot - it felt horrible. Gonna try to never use them again.

Impossible to get in touch with if you don't speak Korean.

I have a purchase from them I don't understand. I opt to call them, by the only way possible, which is through a phone number.

When I call, I get a voice saying, "For English, press 3". And so I do. However, the lady I am connected to does not speak English. She says something unintelligible about "Contact after 23", which is anybody's guess as to what she's saying. I'm asking if they have an e-mail, repeating "E-MAIL" clearly. She fidgets a bit, then says it's "on our website". No, it's not. I quickly say goodbye and hang up, because this interaction was just a waste of time.

Needless to say, any way for a non-Korean speaker to get help is impossible.
