Tanner's your man

I don't ever write reviews, but Tanner with Truvion made what I thought would be a weeks long process of getting a HELOC a fairly painless procedure. He was very professional, explaining everything as we went through the process. Tanner made everything transpire in what seemed like only a few days. Incredibly refreshing to meet a professional with such high work ethics. I will not hesitate recommending Tanner to family and friends.

Poor working conditions

This review is not about the purported service Truvillion provides, which is providing cash out home equity lines of credit, but rather a caution to those who may be thinking about working there. This is a new company, and as such, is still evolving as they attempt to conduct business. Their policies and procedures seem to evolve on a daily basis, some good some bad, which is why I am providing this review. For those of you who may be thinking of working at Trevion, as a mortgage loan originator, you should be advised that you will not actually be loan originator, but rather your designation will be that of a loan assistant. As such, they do not position you as a mortgage loan originator and conspicuously post your NMLS number. That alone made me nervous. However, what prompted me to post this review, was the way in which I was terminated after only three weeks with the company. At the beginning of the second week, I became ill from exposure to a strep infection while dining out. I was out of work for three days as directed by my doctor, as I was highly contagious and did not want to affect anyone else in the office. Following my return to the office, a week later, my wife’s sister had a heart attack and was scheduled for emergency quadruple bypass surgery. In order for my wife to be with her sister, during this life-threatening procedure, my wife had to make an emergency flight back to St. Louis. The only way she could obtain a direct flight was to be driven from Orange County to LAX which meant I had to leave work early on a Friday to drive her to LAX so that she could race to see her sister who was scheduled the next day for the quadruple bypass surgery. My wife returned the following Monday and then on Thursday of that same week, she received a call that her sister had contacted sepsis and it was thought she may not survive the weekend. Predicated upon this information we again race to LAX to catch a direct flight to St Louis to be with her sister in case she did die over the weekend. Upon my return to the office on Tuesday following the Memorial Day holiday, I was informed that my job was terminated due to my poor, I reiterate, poor, performance. This is not true. I was terminated because I had not been in the office on those days that were either as the result of an illness or because of any emergency family situation. Just be cautious before you work for this company as they are a start up company with numerous processes that change on a daily basis, as well as an unforgiving attitude when it comes to personal needs.

Amazing customer service

If customer service had a poster child, his name would be Michael Tellez. Michael was personable, kind, patient, very understanding and I would highly recommend him! Very impressed with Michael!
