My experience was okay I guess

My experience was okay I guess. I had a questions when I was applying and it was hard to get help from the support team. The prices for the application were not very clear at first. The application prices did not seem clear. Overall I did not think the application was worth the money they were asking for. The application prices were a problem, for me.

Do not buy a car from here.

Do not buy a car from here.

I ordered a car, it came over two weeks later. Was told multiple times and dates it would be available to collect, this was rushed and an absolute faff as I had booked time of work and missed out on shifts due to this. I was told there was a dent which was fixed however there was still visible scratches and tyres were nearly bold. 5 months later I now have GFR problem, how this could happen in under 5 months is beyond me. AND I part exchanged my old car and they didn’t pay off the finance! I had to wait a month and for a refund! Managers were appalling and attitude was pure rude. Won’t be going back there. Just avoid. Ripped me off big time and ignored my complaints. Only care about the money.

if i could give zero i would...
appalling service and customer service. They had my vehicle for 4 months to rectify a problem. returned it yesterday with interior covered in mould, literally 2 inches of it all over every thing. they refused to accept liability, as it must be my fault.
Im a motability customer. Im currently going through channels to sue them for discrimination via the disability and equality act 1995.

The service manager Julian said the reason i have not heard from him directly in 4 months is due to his staff not passing on messages to call me back. He told Motability case manager a pack of lies saying car was fixed and valeted ready for collection yesterday. car was full of black mould, had damage to outside in 2 places . i will add photos if allowed.
Im not sure what customer experience they have had training for, but it certainly is completely inadequate borderline discriminatory. I contacted Skoda Uk, with all of my dealings and now the branch has told them its being sorted. why couldnt they tell me>>

conclusion -
tust group uk are at best the most substandard dealership i have dealt with. ( Previous to my accident I worked for Audi UK )

Brand integrity and reputation are paramount...... something that this franchise has obviously no idea about or cares about

My advice - do not use this group franchise - dont take my word for it - check out the other reviews on here

Trust

This review is a warning to others using Trust Group Wolverhampton. I bought a VW Golf from them some years back, and from that day I had concerns about the car. A recent check uncovered that the car had obviously been in a major shunt and had a welding job done. This was never declared, but because of previous suspicions, I feel they knew what had been done, as the car had been moved from a Stoke VW dealer, to their Wolverhampton showroom.
That said, Although, I have had years of excellent driving from this car, I just felt cheated and this is just a warning to make sure you ask the question about any vehicle you purchase, and get their response in writing, as its to easy for them to say you misunderstood. Additionally, its always worth getting an independent inspection. As for purchasing a VW, in my view the best.

Service department at the Stourbridge…

Service department at the Stourbridge dealership is absolutely appalling. 8 visits to sort out a faulty key and when they eventually order a replacement key and book an appointment to programme it, they spend 90 minutes trying to programme the faulty key. I wouldn’t pay them in washers. The Service Manager is out of his depth - he couldn’t run a bath. Avoid this place at all costs - they are beyond useless!

We had a terrible time with Trust Group…

We had a terrible time with Trust Group when we bought a top of the range brand new car from them ..... numerous of their management staff intentionally misled us before, during and after delivery regarding the specification concerning a critical safety system ..... and after delivery when we proved their deception they refused to put the matter right and even Skoda UK said they could not get any sensible response from them and eventually when the Motor Ombudsman instructed them to take the car back and refund us they refused .......... what a totally unpleasant bunch they were to deal with

Terrible service from Stourbridge branch

If I could give no stars I would. If you want a reliable vehicle, I recommend Volkswagen. If you want a reliable dealer, do NOT use the Trust Group. Terrible service from Stourbridge branch and the manager was rude when I phoned him. He also broke GDPR by speaking about my account with someone else before authorising this with me.

Where a free recall leads to a £1000 bill

Took my car in for a manufacturer recall check at the Trust Dealership in Redditch, which I understand was a software check.

This took them over three hours to complete and on my return I was presented with a 'Complimentary Car Health Check' which I had not been asked about along with a prospective bill for £1000's worth of work.

I was somewhat put out that I'd had to wait around all that time for this to be done (no offer of a courtesy car) but equally concerned that the car was safe to drive as the receptionist/salesperson stated some of the work equated to a car dangerous to drive. There was some pressure to book the car in then and there however as the car had just recently passed its MOT with no issues I wanted to get a second opinion.

I checked some of the issues myself - 'low oil' - the oil was on the full mark(?) and I then took it to a trusted local garage and had them go through all the issues raised. Of everything on the invoice they could only find one item which would need replacing, and that not urgently. In the end this was done the following year.

I realise mechanical items and wear and tear are always subject to a mechanics opinion but in this case, and given the items I myself checked over, I am not confident this was work which in fact needed doing.

They also added my details to a marketing database without my consent in contravention of GDPR and despite multiple requests to remove my details I still get the occasional marketing call from them now.

I would not go back to this dealership again even for a 'free' recall following this experience. Trust indeed.
