We found Worksmart an excellent company for re-felting our roof. Carl kept us informed of what was required and the costs. The work was done professionally, and everyone worked 110%. We are thrilled with our clean roof and the new edging tiles. We are now confident that when it rains, the house will stay dry and warm, especially with the new membrane that was fitted.

After being let down by two other traders I found on another tradesman review website, the joiner I found on TrustATrader responded speedily and I am happy with the job he did. I will have a look on TrustATrader again when I need a tradesman next.

Great rating means a great service
At a moment of stress (no heating or hot water in near freezing weather following a boiler breakdown), the engineer we turned to had a very good TrustATrader rating. It was immensely reassuring to know. It proved to be absolutely true too!

Trustatrader seems like an oxymoron
I used trustatrader about 18 months ago to find a roofing company to repair/replace a 40 year old leaking roof. The roofing co. were a nightmare from beginning to end. The finished roof looked terrible and started leaking again. I wrote a review telling exactly what my impression was of this awful roofing company to which the owner e mailed me complaining I had given a rubbish review. This has now disappeared from trustatrader. I contacted trustatrader a few days ago and they couldn’t give me any details other than thecompany is no longer listed with them.
The damage they caused has had to be put right and my life savings have been depleted to put my roof right. I had an expert go up onto the roof to survey it and he couldn’t believe what he saw.
1. Used mixed size battens too small to hold heavy tiles
2. Big hole at the top filled in with plastic bags
3. Big gaps between tiles
All these things were letting in rain .
I feel intimidated by this roofing company at the time and wonder what’s the point of these sites are when things go wrong.
