My experience with Trend had two very different sides.

The administrative side was unfortunately frustrating. There was initial miscommunication regarding warranty coverage, and I was advised the matter was not covered when in fact it was later approved by the manufacturer (ProwlerProof). Communication around scheduling was slow, and when I sought clarification about disposal of the old doors, I did not receive a response. On another occasion, I was referred back to a colleague who appeared unaware of the situation. As a customer, that lack of coordination was disappointing and left me uncertain about next steps.

That said, the installation team was excellent. They arrived on time, were professional, thorough, and respectful. Nothing was an issue for them. They completed the installation to a high standard, removed the old doors for disposal, and even adjusted an unrelated sliding door latch at no cost. It was clear they take pride in their work and work well together as a team.

In the end, the job was completed successfully and I’m very happy with the outcome — however, the administrative experience does make me hesitant to engage Trend again in the future.

If you want quality windows and service I would advise you to stay away from Trend Windows. From the factory to the office staff they have no pride in their work and do not care about complaints. A 12 year old with ADHD would be able to do mitre cuts better than they do in their factory. Every window we received, you could see outside through the aluminium joint and none were lined up. The rubber strips that make the window weather proof were all cut too short so no window would seal properly. The rubber that holds the double glazing in was too short and did not join so they will fail in the long run. The sliding doors all had the same issue with the mitre cuts and had big gaps on the top and bottom so spiders and bugs can crawl in. Also not very weather proof. One of door locks would not work. All windows should be double glazing but one was supplied with double glazing on top but single glazing on the bottom. All in all the whole experience with Trend has been very disappointing as no customer service was supplied after the sale. They really do not care. They got paid and then they wash their hands and you are on your own. In the end the gaps were filled with silicon and that was it. No care, no compensation for the terrible workmanship. order number 1256104.
