Unique styles that make me smile every time...

My order arrived in a timely manner and every item was exactly what I expected, or even better eg the cashmere scarves. The ordering process was easy and size guides helpful. I miss having a local Tree of Life store, but the website is great and there are more size and colour options. I like that it is divided into different themes or origins like Nepal. My style is unique and personal to me, but I can always find something special at Tree of Life that adds accents or basics. There are people who don't understand this store and complain about the very things that make Tree of Life unique eg. hand dye or indian cotton... newsflash, you can't wash these clothes in hot water, or wear them to an outdoor barbeque and sit on the ground and then complain that it snagged. Most items are softer and more delicate than stuff you get from jeans stores and you need to take care when wearing them, but it's worth it for the comfort and soft, feminine flow. If you don't like these kinds of flowy clothes and aren't willing to go easy on them, it's simply not your store, go to a down market mega store or buy hard yacka, but I for one value being able to get something unique and hope Tree of Life is around for a long time to come.

Ordered a Bible from the Tree of Life…

Ordered a Bible from the Tree of Life Bible Society. Never received the Bible. It said it would come via UPS. UPS has NEVER taken 7 days on a delivery. The Bible never came. I am requesting a FULL REFUND of $81.81 for the item that was not received. I kept receiving messages from the ministry, but never received appropriate receipts for shipping, and the whereabouts of the item order. Once I started to inquire about the Bible, they said it was delivered. NO, IT WAS NOT!!! I am requesting a FULL REFUND. Immediately!

Low quality, inconsistent sizing & no customer service

Very unhappy with my order and their customer service. I reordered a pair of pants, in exactly the same size and colour and got pants 2 sizes smaller. It's really obvious that the wrong size label has been attached to them and obvious that nobody actually checks those things.
Also, I specifically asked (as I had with my previous order) that the parcel be left in our parcel box at the main gate, because I can't drive to town at the moment. This was ignored and instead, they sent a threatening email suggesting that the parcel would be returned to them unless I picked it up immediately. I had to organise for someone else to make a special trip to town to retrieve it.
I also purchased two shirts on sale. The quality of the shirts, especially the Asha shirt, is really poor. I can't imagine it lasting more than a couple of washes. It also looks nothing like it did in their photos and is shapeless and immensely unflattering.
They are really hard to get in touch with and slow to respond.
I won't be shopping with them again because the manufacture quality is too unreliable and their sizing isn't consistent either. Very unimpressed all 'round.

I ordered some items online I ordered…

I ordered some items online I ordered size small , received a large size dress which had a small label marked on it.
I was very disappointed as this item was ordered and meant to arrive in time before I was going away . As this was not my fault and it was Tree of life’s fault, yet I had to return this before getting a refund . I think I should have been compensated for their mistake but nothing was offered and yet I had to go out of my way to package and return this item. No very business savy for a well known company. If this was my fault, I would understand but this really was an inconvenience and especially when this item was ordered for a special occasion. Not sure if I will order online from them again , they don’t seem to value their customers.

So bad I had to waste my time on a negative online review.

I used to love this brand..I live remotely now and have to purchase online - however their new online purchasing/exchange “refund” system is absolutely ridiculous. Complicated and impersonal - asking for far too much personal information (it’s a private third party company)

When I emailed them with my original query (trying to make sense of their system)
I was responded to by a bot that had not understood my request all.

I lost money on the postage when all I wanted to do was exchange the item for a smaller size.

I would never buy anything online with them again, knowing they have allowed this unworkable third party exchange/refund system - they would be lucky to get me back in store.

Crazy customs/import charges if you’re…

Crazy customs/import charges if you’re in the UK - its hidden in the website ts & cs that buyer is responsible for this, but it is not clearly stated through any of the ordering process - wouldn’t order again. Sad as clothes look beautiful! Would be great if they sorted out cover for the charges in advance for UK buyers as other companies do
