My experience started on the 12th of February with Tre, during one of their phone campaigns.
During the recorded phone call, the salesman stated that the contract/subscription would start in June and that I could cancel it before it started. I agreed to the contract over the phone mostly just to get rid of that pushy salesman. About 15 days later, coincidentally, I checked the status of the subscription on Tre’s website, and it showed that a binding 2‑year contract had already started the day after my conversation with Tre.
I called Tre and clearly stated that this was not what had been agreed during the phone call and that I wanted to use my right of withdrawal. The Tre customer service representative immediately said: “That’s impossible, the 14 days have expired,” and that nothing could be done to cancel the subscription. After multiple phone calls, I managed to get the porting of my phone number cancelled so that my number would not be moved to that company. I repeatedly requested the recording of that phone call, as I remembered it clearly and my girlfriend was sitting next to me in the car while I was taking the call.
I then checked Swedish law and learned that if you have not been provided with sufficient information during the recorded phone call when you signed the contract, you have up to a year to cancel it. In my case, I had been misled.
I called Tre again on that basis, explaining that I needed to hear the phone call so that I could exercise this right. Tre’s customer service told me that they had listened to the call and that it stated I had 14 days to withdraw my consent to the contract, so cancellation was not possible. I requested the phone call recording, but, as was consistently the case with Tre, they always said things like “We will send it to you” or “We will call you back,” which, if it is not already obvious, never happened.
I submitted a right‑to‑be‑forgotten request under the GDPR. A little more than a month later, I received an archive with all the phone calls I had had with Tre support, but the call with the salesman was missing.
I called Tre customer service again at the end of March and somehow, for the very first time, reached someone who was not only competent, but who actually looked into my case. This was the first time, after calling them multiple times, that anyone really investigated my situation, which says a lot about the mentality of that company.
That person looked into my case and stated something quite interesting: Tre does not run its phone campaigns only by itself; Tre also uses other companies. So if you happen to be contractually bound to Tre after signing during one of their aggressive phone campaigns, there is a chance you were actually talking to a third‑party company. The customer service representative asked me for the exact phone number that had called me to identify whether it was Tre or a third party. In my case, it was apparently a third company. I was advised to call that number back and request the phone recording, but I was also told there was little likelihood they would agree. In this situation, I was told that Tre did not have that phone recording.
Basically, Tre bound me to a contract without having the phone call that would prove I had been given sufficient information for the 14‑day withdrawal period to apply. The same customer service person then tried to talk me into actually resigning from my current operator and moving my phone number to Tre, saying there was no better option at this point. By then, I was quite resigned.
On the 8th of April, I decided to try calling the phone number I had initially been called from (0795599752). When calling it, I couldn’t set the menu to English, but it said that it was Tre and the voice told me to call another phone number (0812443811). I called that number and requested the phone recording from the 12th of February. The operator told me the exact name of the person and the company I had spoken with, and confirmed they had the recording, but said they would call me back. I called them back later the same day and asked again for the same information. I was told they were looking into my case and that I would be called back.
Later that day, I was called back by a private number, and that person told me he had listened to the recording. He immediately asked me what I had understood during that phone call: that “the contract has no binding period and would start in June.” He confirmed this and told me he would cancel my phone contract. I asked him if Tre had the phone recording and he said yes, they do.
On the 10th of April, I saw that my binding contract with Tre had been cancelled.
Now I am asking for compensation from Tre which they currently ignore. It seems like they are ignoring a bunch of stuff related to compliance too.

They always give fault information from the customer service.the told me I need a one month notice to cancel a contact and which I did . Now in march I saw they still include charges. Secondly they send me a router with no cost and now because I terminal my contact I will continue to pay for it even thought they told me it no charges on it. So be aware when talking to tre seller and customer service. They just want to sell and keep you in captivity.

I changed my subscription plan and brought a new phone. I had good customer service. So I was happy about that.

No customer support at all, bad web services which connections breaks. Cannot cancel subscription even if you move out from the Country. Think twice before signing up!

Connection is unstable often even when inside the city which has not been the case with other operators. The internet speed goes down often whicj dows not make much sense inside town
