Awful experience with this insurance
Awful experience with this insurance. They have a sneaky definition for a Family Member and qualifying event is only covered if that member resides in USA, Canada or Mexico. So recently purchases policy did not disclose this clearly at the time of purchase and when my father passed away suddenly, and he was residing outside of North America they did not refund money for my tickets for a trip I had to cancel. Stay away from this insurance if you can. Awful company!

Absolutely awful. My partner tried to book my travel insurance for me from his country that i was visiting. With the same information it gave him one quote and me another. I will find a better insurance company next time that gives same quotes for the same information

The process of defining the insurance was intuitive.
The process of defining the insurance needs was easy and had logical groupings in the offerings. Called the Support Desk to get answers on exclusions which were quickly answered. The documentation needed for our travel was generated instantly and the links provided to them.

I was struck at airport due to flight…
I was struck at airport due to flight delays for 4-5 hours with my family and was under distress
when i asked if accommodation can be provided, i was read the terms and conditions for over 30 minutes instead of answering the questions directly
i was expecting distress relief and not additional stress

Claim to reimbursement
The whole process from submitting the claim and documents to receiving payment directly into our checking account took approximately 10 days. We have recommended Trawick International to all of our friends and family. The price is fair and the customer service is excellent. We will definitely insure our future travel with Trawick.
