Easy process to buy GBP cash
The online process to buy GBP before our trip was very easy and the communication back from Travelex kept us in the loop.
We picked up the cash from our local Post Office and were happy with the security and efficiency of the whole process.

Unsure staff
I had pre-ordered the money, to be collected at Sydney Airport.
Initially the staff member couldn’t find my order at all, then found it eventually, but didn’t know what to do. After calling her supervisor twice, we eventually got got there.
Possibly she was in training, but I don’t know.

Not happy cards needed to be activated…
Not happy cards needed to be activated by Travelex when we were already overseas in spite of assurances whilst still in Australia. First class response and action using +44..... phone service.

Easy Process
The process was very easy ordering currency on line through Travelex. When you are planning a holiday you already have so much to think about so having the stress taken out of this process is great. I also love the fact that you can just go to your local Australia Post to pick up your order.

Easy online order process. I thought the exchange rate was good until I went to Hai zhan and they gave better rate in person. Plus no smaller denominations was annoying, hence the trip to Hai Ha.

The online ordering and pick up service was very easy to use and very efficient. 5 Stars! The person I collected from was friendly and informative. 5 Stars! My only disappointment, which I've contacted them privately about, was that I was given six of the same large denomination notes and nothing else. I was expecting a little bit of variety with at least some smaller notes to use on arrival. 1 Star!
