DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - kept my money

I purchased 4 tickets for the USA (£2400 approx) in Feb 2020, before Covid began, so all the flights were obviously cancelled, and was given a credit note which was available to use, after covid ended.
Once we had the go ahead to travel, this is where the nightmare began - DO NOT USE FOR TRAVEL.
Sam was my original agent (not to be confused with the Sam that works there now) and was very helpful but he left the company.
The company would not deal with me on the telephone and said I had to e-mail an address, which I did several times, without any responses.
The only (and forced) response I received was after I instructed a solicitor to get in touch.
They e-mailed me (still no phone calls) and the price had now gone up significantly and I was told I would be required to pay double for the flights now - for 3 people not 4.
I was not prepared to give them anymore money when on other reputable travel sites, I could get the same price as I had paid but Traveldecorum said they couldn't do that.
They then stopped communicating completely.
Long story short - reviews are shocking (I should of done more research) - I instructed a debt collecting agency to try to get my money back. Their listed office is not an office and only a postal address where someone on the reception desk collects their post - they refused to say who collected it or where it was forwarded to.
Traveldecorum communicated initially with the agency, by email, and gave them a lot of excuses but then they stopped responding completely and despite being hopeful, it was to no avail so TRAVEL DECORUM have kept my money and not resolved anything.
They should not be trusted, as you will see on many reviews if you search past the AI ones or ones they write themselves.
I am truly disappointed by it all and should of known better.
I'm sure they will come on here and try to defend what they did but they still have thousands of pounds that don't belong to them.
I am hoping through my reviews (and posting on other sites) that someone won't lose money like I did.

We would like to clarify the situation regarding the credit voucher that was issued to you at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with airline policies at the time. As per airline regulations, once a credit voucher is issued, it cannot be converted into a cash refund. Additionally, the issuance of a credit voucher does not imply that all future travel costs will be covered—any fare differences must still be paid at the time of rebooking.

Credit vouchers typically come with certain restrictions, such as the requirement to use the full amount in a single transaction and limitations on the number of changes permitted. In your case, the credit voucher was rebooked and cancelled multiple times over the past five years, which is beyond the intended use.

Please note that we operate a trust account, where all customer funds are securely held and settled directly with the airlines. We do not have access to these funds, apart from a modest commission we retain for our services.

Unfortunately, the repeated changes and cancellations have led to the expiry of the credit voucher. As a result, the funds—originally with the airline—have now lapsed due to the passage of time.

We understand this situation may be frustrating, and we genuinely regret any inconvenience caused. However, it is important to note that the lapse occurred due to multiple rebookings and cancellations, and was not within our control.

Was searching one way ticket for my daughter stuck in Manchester , tried couple of companies but all rejected payment as third party . Called Travel decorum and Steve helped me . He sent me payment link .at last my daughter is home now

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company will take your money for a ticket that doesn't exist,they will lie to you every time you call them. I ended up getting a refund from my bank. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They have many 5 star reviews from 1 review posts, I hope people see my review so they don't go through the pain I did.

Booked a flight almost a year in…

Booked a flight almost a year in advance. First issue was they didn’t included any baggage so I had to figure that out. A couple months before my departure I checked my flight online and it was cancelled. I had to buy a new ticket last min. I called daily for 5 months and never got a refund. It was $1300. I disputed it with the airline, BBB, my bank and thought about a lawyer. Bank only handles disputes normally on charges within 3 months. I never got ahold of them they told me to email. I emailed a dozen times over the 5 months with no reply. Phone was answered maybe once a week and it always led no where. Complete scam operation. Airline told me they refunded the travel agency so they got the money back. If you use they just consider it a donation because you’ll never see your money again.

Per the reply below: TrustPilot can contact me for booking confirmation numbers, bank statements and emails if needed. I won’t be sharing any information with any scammers that stole my money then replied to my bad review a year later.

Terrible Experience

Terrible experience-
Bought a ticket that was canceled 48 hrs after by the airline.
My nightmare began. Agency never replied the e-mails sent asking for a solution or reimbursement and when calling to the contact center number listed on their website; it's always busy leaving you on hold for a whole life. Finally when someone answered; they never resolved the issue.
Had to contact my bank directly to request the money reimbursed due to Travel Decorum NEVER resolved.

If you do not want to be scammed please do not buy on this site, I recently made a purchase and I never got the confirmation from the airline, then what I did was to call and they told me that I had no reservation in my name, please do not buy here, it is a complete fraud

Bought flexible tickets to Turkey

Bought flexible tickets to Turkey, had to change the date, was only offered flights more expensive to buy than direct through the airline. Sunny and Amber only wanted me to re-purchase flights, should have booked directly with the airline. Poor service, only interested in taking as much money as possible. BOOK WITH THE AIRLINE. NOT ATTOL PROTECTED

Refused to refund

Dear All
Greetings

As per Mediation – client claims they have refund confirmation from airline mentioning Traveldecorum refunded 6250 GBP approx.

Traveldecorum verdict: We have received 4146.72 GBP approximately from supplier/airline and are willing to refund 4278 GBP to client.

Client claims they have confirmation from airline that 6250 GBP approx has been refunded by airline to Traveldecorum( this is what mediation conveyed to Traveldecorum). Traveldecorum requested mediation to advise client to email Traveldecorum airline confirmation mentioning 6250 GBP refunded to Traveldecorum( as claimed by client ; mediation ) & Traveldecorum will refund 8000 GBP to client same day to settle this. We waited for an email from Client for same and it never happened.

We request Client to forward airline refund confirmation along with amount 6250 GBP specifically mentioned; alternatively, we have written evidence from our supplier that states Traveldecorum is refunded 4146.72 GBP approx.

We are willing to settle this as we have always stated , to refund client in full whatever we received from airline/supplier ( we are not even charging our admin fee which we are entitled to as per our contract ) . Traveldecorum refund figure can be verified independently to check its authenticity.

Please advise.

I received email from traveldecorum about the refund and until now July 2024 have no response and countless of times trying to contact traveldecorum. I already paid for court and looks like I have to pay another fee to definitely claim my money back through legal procedures. Clearly, they refuse to refund. Next I would have to sue the company itself since it also happened to one of my friends who went through the same situation and not received their money back. The above message is the proof that they are the ones that agreed to send the full refund. Yet it hasn't happened. I will update again. Horrible company.
