Transfermagic Reviews

We had a wonderful Boxing Day sitting down at looking at family films we hadn't seen for decades. Not cheap, but can you put a price on memories?

I had a load of cine 8 films that I found in my late mother's house - Transfermagic have done a grand job converting them to a more usable and sharable format so siblings, children, cousins can all see how we were 45 years ago!

Excellent service very reliable and professional, have used them with confidence on numerous occasions

A fast and very efficient service. The quality of the work was first class and at a reasonable price. They covered my old cine film to digital.

I’ve been getting old cine film transferred to digital a few at a time. The results have been so much better than expected as the films are over 60 years old and have probably not been kept in the best conditions. Transfer magic has also been helpful with advice on how to view them and transfer to other family members.

Excellent service. Would have no hesitation recommending these guys to anyone.

Very helpful in correspondence before sending cine films in. Very knowledgable. Excellent communication and very flexible with pick up delivery etc. Would thoroughly recommend and will use again

Fast, professional service. I would have no hesitation in using them again, or recommending their service to others.

Great service. Work completed on time and to expectations.

Absolutely excellent service. I will use them again, they took great care with my ancient and very precious audio tape, and I am delighted with the results. I can wholeheartedly recommend using them.

Really happy I came across this small team in Edinburgh for digitally scanning my black and white and colour 16mm films, before I was couriering the rolls, some hand developed, to labs in London. I am happy with the results of the scans and the turnaround is good too and very happy with the costs, which for my low budget projects has proven really helpful. I have quickly settled into a routine with the team so I see that continuing.

Needed to have some old family cinefilm footage digitised as a last minute Christmas gift. transfermagic managed to do this for me at very short notice. Great product reasonably priced. very pleased.

I now have some brilliant family cine films from the 1960s digitised and all the family are able to enjoy them. Thanks to the team for digitising them over the years!

Great service, fast turnaround

Professional, extremely helpful and super fast service.

They made a very good job of converting my Dad's old 8mm films, most of are from the mid to late 1960's and were stored in a cardboard box. Family member's & close family friend's have all enjoyed watching them.

Excellent quality of recordings from cassette tapes and reasonable prices. Very good communication as well. Thank you!

I can’t tell you how pleased we are with the quality of the videos that Transfermagic made from our very old Super 8 films. It is hard to believe that the flickering images we used to watch from the projector have been transformed into very acceptable shots even when we are so familia with high definition television. I only sent a few films to start with as the process seemed expensive and I didn’t want wo waste money. However, I will certainly send the rest in batch over time, they are very pleasant people and certainly trustworthy in this uncertain area of business.
