Buyer paid USD 80,000. Tradologie withheld it for years, misled us, and forced a low “settlement” with a silence clause
We are Nadhya Overseas, an export firm. We used Tradologie.com after it represented itself as a “100% safe & secure” platform for international commodity trade and payment handling.
We shipped 5 containers of goods to our buyer, with a total value of approximately USD 80,000.
For years—we were led to believe that the buyer had not paid and we should write-off our losses.
Only much later, during a police investigation of another case on them, we discovered that the buyer had in fact already made payment, and that Tradologie was claiming to have received those funds on our behalf in its own bank account. When we had not agreed / authorized Tradologie to do any such thing. This critical information was never disclosed to us at the time.
The funds were withheld for nearly four years.
In 2022, Tradologie informed us that our original buyer had backed out of the contract. They stated that they had resold the cargo to another buyer and offered us a “one-time full and final settlement” of ₹2,40,000—only a small fraction of what was due to us.
As part of that settlement, we were required to sign a clause restricting us from speaking about the matter publicly.
We accepted only because we were under pressure to move on, due to heavy charges.
We are sharing this now so that other exporters are aware of the risks. Based on our experience, and in light of what we understand about their conduct, we do not recommend that sellers trade through Tradologie.com.
This review reflects our direct commercial experience with Tradologie.com / Super E Factory Depot Pvt Ltd.
Tradologie Bad Experience
Warning: Tradologie
My experience with Tradologie was poor. They act very differently before taking money vs after. You get spammed with daily “hidden leads” to quote, which is frustrating because deals never close. Their expected pricing is unrealistically low and not workable.
Look up “exposed tradologie” and “fraud tradologie” online for more.
Serious regulatory concerns
Serious regulatory concerns — potential RBI and FEMA violations you need to know about
After extensive research into Tradologie.com, I uncovered several deeply troubling issues that any buyer or seller using this platform should be aware of before committing funds.
The platform appears to operate as a payment aggregator without RBI authorization. Their own payment policy confirms they collect full transaction values and remit to sellers — the textbook definition of a Payment Aggregator — yet the company (Super E Factory Depot Pvt Ltd) does not appear on the RBI's authorized PA list as of March 2026.
Compounding this, they simultaneously run their own marketplace and act as the payment intermediary, which directly violates the RBI Master Direction's "ring-fencing" requirement prohibiting PAs from operating their own marketplaces.
Perhaps most alarming is the misleading use of the word "ESCROW". Tradologie directs users to deposit Commitment Fees and advance payments into a corporate current account held in the company's own name at ICICI Bank, then labels this an escrow facility. This is factually incorrect. A standard corporate account is not bankruptcy-remote — your funds become part of the company's general assets and are at risk if the company becomes insolvent.
For international traders, there are additional FEMA concerns. The platform appears to facilitate cross-border payments without a PA-CB (Cross-Border) license, and the use of accounts to pool foreign currency deposits from third parties may violate FEMA Master Direction 14/2016-17 governing EEFC accounts.
Finally, the mandatory "Commitment Fee" collected from both parties into an unregulated corporate account — partly used for an in-house "Trade Safeguard Fund" — may constitute unauthorized deposit-taking under the RBI Act. I strongly urge anyone considering this platform to conduct thorough due diligence and seek independent legal advice before depositing any funds.
My loss occurred directly because Tradologie did not follow the regulatory framework it is legally required to operate under. I want no other buyer or seller to go through what I experienced, so I am sharing my research in full.

Unreliable, Poor Communication, and Highly Risky to Work With – Be Cautious
My experience dealing with Super E Factory Depot Pvt. Ltd. has been extremely disappointing and financially stressful. I am sharing this review so that other businesses can make informed decisions before working with them.
Unprofessional Handling of Transactions
In my dealings, Super E Factory acted as an intermediary for an export transaction. Their role was to manage communication and coordinate the payment process. However, they failed to handle critical steps in a professional and transparent manner.
Missing or Delayed Payment Communication
There were multiple instances where:
Important payment updates were not shared on time
Follow-ups were ignored
Commitments were made but not honoured
Vital documentation was either delayed or incomplete
This caused unnecessary financial exposure on my side.
Lack of Accountability
When issues arose, instead of taking responsibility or providing solutions, the communication became vague and inconsistent. This left me in a difficult position during a high-value international shipment.
Process Failures That Created Risk
Super E Factory did not:
Conduct proper KYC checks on the overseas buyer
Ensure the required advance payment was collected
Escalate payment delays despite repeated reminders
Provide complete clarity on transaction timelines
Any one of these gaps can create significant risk for a supplier.
Not Recommended for Serious B2B Trade
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Super E Factory for export-related transactions. Their lack of reliability and transparency makes them unsuitable for businesses that require timely, accurate, and compliant execution.
Final Advice
Don't Deal with them.
I have had a very bad experience with…
I have had a very bad experience with Tradologie. In 2022, I decided to import parboiled rice from India to Togo through Tradologie.com. I was supposed to pay 10% against shipping documents of 520MT but unfortunately I couldn't pay the remaining 90% due to financial constraints. Tradologie.com told me they will give my 10% to the supplier/seller to offset his charges. Later on I came to noticed that Tradologie.com did not pay the money(10%) to the supplier but rather kept it for themselves. So at the end I didn't receive any shipment of rice or my money. This is what they have done to many first time importers from West Africa.
Formal Complaint — Refund of Token Payment and Contractual Penalty / Breach of Services by Tradologie.com
Subject: Formal Complaint — Refund of Token Payment and Contractual Penalty / Breach of Services by Tradologie.com
I am writing to raise a formal complaint about my experience with Tradologie.com. We enrolled with Tradologie in October 2024 and paid an annual subscription fee of ₹141,600. At the time of enrollment we were told Tradologie would provide verified buyers and verified payment terms (30% advance and 70% on scanned Bill of Lading or LC at sight). We were also told the fees would be a 1% commission on the total order value plus a USD 50 token fee per container.
On that basis we proceeded. Tradologie introduced an offer for 10 containers of IR64 rice with payment terms stated as LC at sight. Although our bank advised that African LCs are often not accepted, Tradologie assured us they had suppliers who accept LC at sight with African buyers. When we asked for details of the supplier who receives the African LCs, Tradologie refused to share the information, saying it was confidential. Despite our concerns, we signed the contract and paid ₹43,500 as token payments (USD per-container token) to Tradologie.
After signing the contract we waited for the buyer’s confirmation. For months we received no meaningful updates. When we contacted Tradologie’s team they did not respond consistently. After nearly three months we discovered the buyer had cancelled the deal. We then requested a refund of our token payment and the contractual penalty of USD 1,000 that is specified in our agreement. Tradologie repeatedly told us the amounts would be adjusted against the next order, but no refund or written resolution was provided.
Following that, we agreed to try a second order under terms described to us as 30% advance and 70% on scanned BL. It later became clear that Tradologie’s practice is to release the so-called “30% advance” only after the supplier has processed and packed the order — i.e., after we have already incurred the costs for bags, rice, packing and loading. This is not an advance payment in the usual sense and exposes exporters like us to substantial, unrecoverable costs if a buyer withdraws. Tradologie also refuses to reveal when or how they will introduce buyers or suppliers and maintains confidentiality about parties they claim to work with.
We have repeatedly requested the refund of the token amount and the USD 1,000 contractual penalty. Since our requests began, Tradologie’s team has failed to provide a substantive response. I have raised the matter on LinkedIn and tried to escalate it to Mr. J K Arora (Chairman & CEO, Tradologie.com) and Mr. Anand Srivastava (Vice President — Growth & Operations), but I received no response.
Based on my experience, Tradologie’s practices are deceptive and place the financial risk entirely on exporters while protecting only their commission. I therefore consider this a fraudulent practice and will be reporting the matter to the consumer forum and pursuing other remedies available to me.
Requested remedy: immediate refund of the token payments and payment of the contractual USD 1,000 penalty, and a written explanation of why the company failed to honor the contract and respond to my refund requests.

Beware of Tradologie - Fraudulent Practices Alert!
I want to alert everyone to the deceptive practices of Tradologie and its founder, JK Arora. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others to avoid falling into the same trap.
Tradologie lures customers in with promises of cheap rates for products like cement, only to disappear once they've received payment. I, like many others, was asked to pay a token amount upfront, only to be met with silence and non-responsiveness when I tried to follow up on my order.
What's worse is that Tradologie has managed to cultivate a facade of legitimacy through fake reviews and ratings, leading unsuspecting customers to trust them with significant amounts of money. It's clear that this company is engaging in fraudulent behavior, preying on the trust of honest individuals for their own gain.
I refuse to stand idly by while others fall victim to Tradologie's scams. That's why I'm calling on anyone who has been affected by this company to join me in creating a community to fight back against their deceitful practices. Together, we can raise awareness and hold Tradologie accountable for the harm they've caused.
If you've been defrauded by Tradologie or have any information to share, please reach out to me via WhatsApp at +919420833378. Let's unite to protect others from falling into the same trap.
Thank you for taking the time to read this warning. Don't let Tradologie's fake reviews fool you - stay vigilant and spread the word to prevent others from becoming victims.
