I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with TradeFXBook. It was very difficult to connect my own trading account for auto-sync. Even after entering the correct login details, the platform failed to connect and the auto-sync feature didn't work. This made the service frustrating to use, especially since reliable account synchronization is one of its main features.
TRADE FX BOOK IS SCAM
To anyone thinking about subscribing to Trade FX Book: don't buy it. It's a waste of money.
The backtesting feature doesn't work properly because the candlesticks don't form correctly, and the app lags a lot. If you try to journal your trades, you won't even be able to upload screenshots.
The support team is also extremely weak. I contacted them three weeks ago, and I still haven't received any reply or support. You'll just end up wasting your money.
In my opinion, influencers Umar Punjabi and Top G are misleading people about this app. Their trading knowledge is good—I'm only talking about the app itself.
The only thing I found useful is that if you want to copy the same trades they share on Telegram, the app can be used for that. Apart from that, the app is completely useless.
I bought it mainly for backtesting, but I still haven't been able to complete a single proper backtest because of all the issues. It turned out to be a complete waste of money.
If you genuinely want a trading journal and backtesting platform that works properly, go with TradeZella instead. It costs about twice as much, but at least it's reliable and doesn't feel like a scam. In my experience, it's worth it.
This has been one of the biggest wastes…
This has been one of the biggest wastes of money. Even with the premium subscription, the platform lags constantly and feels extremely unstable. It is full of glitches, making it frustrating to use.
The worst part is the backtesting. It keeps jumping backward again and again, making it almost impossible to test strategies properly. A premium service should never have issues like this.
Customer support is also disappointing. They don't respond unless you repeatedly ask for a reply, and getting help takes far too long.
Overall, I regret paying for the premium version. The platform is unreliable, buggy, slow, and not worth the money. I would not recommend TradeFxBook to anyone until these major issues are fixed.
@Umar Punjabi — I would appreciate some transparency and clarification regarding TradeFXBook.
@Umar Punjabi — I would appreciate some transparency and clarification regarding TradeFXBook.
It is my understanding that you may be the founder or have an ownership stake in TradeFXBook. If that is the case, I believe your audience deserves to know this upfront rather than being silently directed towards the platform through your content.
Previously, you consistently recommended TradeZella as the best trading journal platform. However, you have recently shifted your recommendation entirely to TradeFXBook. This sudden change raises a genuine question — is this switch driven by the merit of the platform, or is it because you have a financial or ownership interest in TradeFXBook?
If you have founded, co-founded, or hold any ownership or affiliate stake in TradeFXBook, it is only fair and ethical to disclose this clearly to your audience before promoting it. Promoting a product you own without transparent disclosure — especially to a large audience that trusts your recommendations — is a serious conflict of interest.
Adding to this, I want to highlight a very important point:
I personally took a paid subscription of TradeFXBook based on your recommendation. However, the core feature of backtesting — which is the entire reason I subscribed — is completely non-functional. Upon logging in, it only shows membership upgrade options and there is absolutely no option available to start backtesting. I have already raised this complaint with their customer support team but have received no satisfactory resolution.
Furthermore, I have noticed that on your YouTube channel, you have published a video specifically on backtesting where you recommend TradeFXBook as the "best backtesting platform." Given the possibility that you are the owner or hold a major stake in this platform, I strongly believe this constitutes a deliberate and silent manipulation of your audience — directing them to purchase a subscription to a platform in which you have a personal financial interest, without disclosing this conflict of interest.
You are based in Dubai and your primary targeted audience is from India — many of whom are young, aspiring traders who trust your recommendations completely and spend their hard-earned money based on your suggestions.
I am not making accusations — I am asking for honest, public clarification on the following:
Do you own, co-own, or hold any financial stake in TradeFXBook?
Do you receive affiliate commissions or any monetary benefit for recommending TradeFXBook?
Why is the backtesting feature — the core feature of the platform — not working for paid subscribers?
Why was this conflict of interest, if it exists, never disclosed to your audience?
Your audience deserves full transparency. If I am wrong, please correct me publicly. But if this is indeed a case of undisclosed ownership being used to monetise your audience's trust — that is not just unethical, it is a serious legal violation under consumer protection and influencer disclosure laws in India and internationally.
Note: Under India's ASCI (Advertising Standards Council of India) guidelines and the Consumer Protection Act 2019, influencers are legally required to disclose any material connection — including ownership, investment, or paid promotion — when recommending a product or service to their audience. Failure to do so can attract legal action

Scam company
Scam company – refusing refund within policy
I had a very bad experience with Tradefxbook.
I made a payment on 19/03/2026, and as of today (23/03/2026), I am still within their stated 7-day refund policy. However, they are refusing to process my refund and continue to delay it with excuses.
I made the payment via UPI and have all the proof, including payment confirmation, their refund policy, and conversation records.
This behavior is highly unprofessional and raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of this company.
This company also appears to be associated with names like Umar Panjabi and TopGTraders.
I strongly advise others to stay away until they start honoring their policies.
I will update this review if my refund is processed.
