This company uses very noisy diesel vans rather than milk floats or electrical vehicles. Not only this, but they make their rounds inside the Noise Act of between 23:00 and 7:00. In fact they regular disturb the peace three times a week during their North Gower rounds, awaking me between 3:30AM and 4:30AM!!! On top of this, their drivers make no effort to reduce the disturbance.

I have no objection to traditional local milk delivery services when done in a quiet respectful way in more acceptable hours. It baffles me why this company cannot use quiet vehicles and operate within sociable hours.

Further, this company claims under their Sustainable policy that they have been, "committed to sustainability initiatives for many years" and with a low carbon footprint. Apart from the noise aspect, running very noisy diesel vehicles does not come near to achieving this. Milk and More also claim to reduce pollution and noise by using electric floats. Clearly not the case.

Gerrard Rascoul knocked on my door to sell me milk and I'm glad he did, he was knowledgeable friendly funny and chatty made the whole sign process easy!! I've been looking for a milkman to deliver milk in glass bottles to cut down on plastic and now I have one!!
