The best Mexican in DK that I've been to

Well, except being one of the best regarding the taste of all the Mexican places I've been to in Denmark, the service were impeccable. We had so much fun with the service who was knowledgeable, full of humor and welcoming.
The surroundings were amazing and the atmosphere just as fantastic.
I simply cannot recommend this place enough!

Reasonably priced but quite bland Mexican food perhaps catering to the Danish palate.

That said, we do balance spice levels so that everyone can enjoy the food, including guests who prefer milder flavors or families with children. Of course, that should never come at the expense of taste.

5 stars from here

Tortillas Flats is such a great restaurant. We went the other day, and the food was simply amazing. Everything is homemade, even the chips! At the end, we all got a decilious dessert each, which would me go back just to taste the chocolate cake again 😍 The service was also very good, the waiters spoke both Danish and English, and they really made sure we weren't missing anything🤗 The environment is very happy, and it totally meets the Mexican vibe!

Bad acoustics and too many people, ect.

I had fond memories of Tortilla Flats from many years ago, especially the heated stoneware plates inspired me to try the same. Times has changed, the food was probably fine, however it was difficult to taste over the noise. Fewer tables and some more acoustic plates in the ceiling might help. Then there is the bill, I trusted them to get it right and just paid, partly to get away from the noise, but after reading the bill it seems like I have paid for at least one more dish than we got. So check the bill before paying.

Sorry for the late response.

We're happy that a good memory of our restaurant prompted you to return for, i´m guessing, a very busy evening during the weekend. Since your noisy experience we have installed acustic plates in the ceiling to better the taste of our noisefree food ;-)

If it's on the bill, the kitchen makes the food. It's very unlikely there would be a food item on your bill, which you didn't receive. Of course we can make mistakes, but this normally doesn't happen.

Best waitor ever???

We celebrated my girlfriends grandpa´s 80 year´s birthday, and we where 18 people at a long table, it started with Nikolaj (the worlds best waitor) welcoming us and taking our order. We where somewhat confused as several of us asked him while he was taking the order down If he shouldn´t write anything down, but he said with confidence ´´I got this´´ To our pleasant surprise not only was Nikolaj able to get all of us our orders perfectly, he did the same trick with our ever growing drink orders?! And on top of an impressive way of handling our orders, he was also very thoughtfull. When not all of us ordered a starter he came by and gave the people who didn´t have anything to eat nachos so they didn´t feel left out. The food was excellent and the service was even better! I´d say general experience of the restaurant was a 4 stars, but Nikolaj (and other staff) lifted it up to 5 or even 6 If I could give them. If you find yourself at Tortilla Flats, you can look forward to great food and an amazing service (and If you´re lucky and have Nokolaj as a waitor even more) Also I have worked as a waitor and I was deeply impressed by his skills, other then that, everyone at the table was very impressed.
