Been here a couple of times already and it's probably become my favourite spot for a steak on a Sunday. The Torbar just has that thing where you walk in and immediately feel like you made the right call.
Atmosphere is very posh-Berlin – you know the vibe. But if you can live with that, it's a brilliant place to be. Service is attentive without being hovery, the food is consistently good and the whole setup just works.
Will definitely be back.

I would agree with the review below mine. Diners have no protection from smoke, and my review stating same was also removed for "Defamation".

I have to assume many other unhappy reviewers suffered the same fate with their review and thus Gogle maps Reviews are unreliable

Food was pretty good, though pricey. Not that we got to enjoy it. We were sitting right at an inside window, and outside the window was a table of smokers. Where did their smoke blow? All over us as we tried to eat. We could not shut the window, it was far too hot.

To our dismay, we realised its place for inner city smokers to sit, look cool and smoke. Google had them at a 4.6, but if we'd checked Tripadvisor, they were only a 3.3, way below any level we'd visit.

When I tried to publish this review on Google Maps, it was deleted even though I provided proof of payment and a booking confirmation.. for possible defamation.

That's fine, I will leave my review everywhere possibly else.
