This T80 - based on their watches from the '80s - is a pain in the arse. I bought Timex watches in '80s and they weren't this aggravating. It's hard to strap it on because it's one of those metallic bands with a clip that's hard to reach when the band keeps sliding away. I can't get the watch to only sound the alarm I set for it; it keeps wanting to beep at the top of the hour and even when I get it to NOT do that--mostly--without turning off the alarm, it does kind of a soft alarm at odd hours before I'm ready to get up. I've Googled and watched videos on how to get the damn thing to turn of the top of the hour beeps but there is NOT 'chrome' icon like there is an alarm icon, and the missing icon is what they tell me to turn off. As if. It arrived on time, anyway, in a huge wasteful carton for a watch that's like eight inches long. I thought these things could take a lickin' and keep on tickin'? Maybe not.

I recently misplaced my 10-year-old Timex watch. After looking intensely for it for a week, I gave up and bought another one. Last night I heard something banging in the dryer. I stopped it, and there was the watch. Had no idea how it got there. Despite having gone through the laundry, it was still working fine though the leather strap was a little worse for wear. Amazing.

Timex.ca promoted a product that was unavailable. I wasted time and shared my credit card info thinking I was making a valid purchase. Very disappointing and misleading experience

I bought a watch and returned it within the return period/policy. A full month after the watch was returned and I still have not been notified of the status of my return and have not received a refund or a timeline for processing my return even after several attempts to contact customer service. Both times I contacted customer service, I received no follow-up response at all. My emails and inquiries went largely unanswered, aside from cookie cutter responses that provided no meaningful detail and felt impersonal if not fully automated. Lots of room for improvement here — this isn’t my first Timex purchase but surely after this it will be my last.
