The tile that we ordered is beautiful
The tile that we ordered is beautiful; however, our first shipment of 5 boxes came with three boxes of damaged tile. The company was very gracious and sent us three more boxes, but again, two boxes out of this order was damaged. We were able to piece enough tiles together and complete our kitchen.

The design service was such a great resource! The option to order 5 samples for just $1 each plus $1 shipping made me confident in my final decisions. Having the tile ship right to the job site saved time and money as my tile setter didn’t have to spend his valuable time picking it up. I highly recommend Tilebar! They have thousands of choices and the Art Gallery collection is something special!!

Find your local tile store
Great sales representative, good prices but the absolute worst shipping/packaging department. Every box had broken open where taped. Thinnest cheap tape available. Spoke with sales representative multiple times regarding why so many tiles chipped or broken and was told nothing she could do to change. Would not recommend to anyone.
Their reply is standard BS. Every package received even after complaining profusely about every box broken open due to cheapest tape available.

EXPENSIVE, BUT BEAUTIFUL AND ONE OF A KIND TILE!!
I had purchased some tile before I moved into my new home. Once moved in, the amount of tile I purchased wasn't enough to do the job. However, that tile was discontinued. They bought it back from me regardless since I purchased a different tile. Although it cost me almost as much as the refund to ship it back, I was still grateful

A problem with broken merchandise in a shipment was QUICKLY resolved and products re-shipped and arrived rapidly. Everything was in-budget and quality, the result stunning and tons of compliments!!!

Seem like scammers
Seem like scammers. Ordered the $5 samples which were supposed to ship out in 1-3 days, 2 weeks ago. Unable to get anyone on the phone now, the 1st lady on the phone was rude & didn't seem to care. Needed to order ASAP. They just lost out on a nearly $5k order.

Worst communication & customer service
This company has the worst communication skills and customer service. Order placed for tile 6/6/24. Needing this order ASAP, we were going to have to wait 4-6 weeks for Tilebar to receive this order at their warehouse then packaging time and ship time. We were told that the warehouse in NJ had gotten a return for this tile, so we would be able to get the order quicker than originally planned. Okay, great. WRONG! We have got the run around. Our reps only form of communication with the NJ warehouse is email...... no direct numbers???? Might as well send a pigeon carrier. Our rep has given us so many different dates at this point we would've been good with keeping the original order. They are only able to ship UPS ground without being able to expedite the order. We were told on numerous occasions that the order was being packaged for shipment and shipping out, but the day and time keeps moving. On top of that we are told we are a valued customer, but there is no sort of hurry, updates, or trying to rectify the situation! Not to mention the previous orders we have received were severely damaged, so hopefully this order shows up without being damaged because we are getting less than we originally ordered. I would not recommend this company if my life depended on it.

It seems like employees on TileBar are coming here to offset bad reviews. Be warned. Do not order from this company if you need tile in any timeframe. Placed an order on July 5 was told I’d have between 11th and 15th. Called to make sure they were coming, told they ship out on 10th. Then told they’d ship out on 11th. Then the 12th. Checked today, the 15th, told they shipped but when I contacted FedEx was told a label was created but FedEx confirmed tiles not picked up. Called back customer service checked the order, it said it was shipping between 18-24. Shipping 2-3 weeks AFTER ordered seems fishy to me. This company won’t be around long at this rate. Already feels like they’re going out of business.

False shipment promise
I placed order on June 7, 2024. The product page said it will be delivered 5-7 days. After I placed order, their team called me and told it's currently out of stock and will be available on June end.
I asked them to cancel and issue refund. They didn't refund. They had my money for a month. The status on website said processing. I thought I will receive it July 1st week but got no notification or update from them. When I followed up they said the product will be back in stock on Aug mid.
However, when you check the product page, it would say it will be delivered in 5-7 days. This is a misleading business practice to hold on to customer money with false promise.

Excellent employee experience with Logan in Manhattan!
I went to the TileBar in Manhattan on West 21st. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with one of their Design and Sales Consultants named Logan M. I was overwhelmed at the vast tile options the shop offers and while I had an idea of what style I wanted; there were still so many choices! Logan was friendly and patient. In the half hour appointment, she showed me many interesting options and more than that; she really provided education and design ideas that were beautiful and thoughtful. I honestly got better and more design ideas from Logan in the shop-than from designers I have hired privately. Logan was extremely professional. She was very prompt when I needed to email her with questions after my appointments. She has a background in interior design and a wealth of creative ideas which really comes through when working with her. She even provided me with a render of what my project would look like with the tiles I chose. This was SO helpful to me as I could really envision what things would look like when the project was finished. I appreciate Logan's friendly nature and professionalism and I will certainly work with her again on future projects.

Please do not buy a vanity from…
Please do not buy a vanity from Tilebar. My decorator (who is a trade client) purchased a Kora vanity for a bathroom project. First of all it is terrible quality and absolutely not worth the price tag. Second, there was constant trouble with the order. The sent the wrong vanity and when they sent the replacement, the replacement was broken. The cover for the overflow is pictured on the website in brushed gold/bronze, with the same color faucet but BOTH orders came with a chrome overflow and they didn't seem to have any way to change it. I am terribly disappointed with this company and with what I thought would be a beautiful vanity after having looked for the perfect one for ages.

I attempted to purchase over $1,000…
I attempted to purchase over $1,000 worth of tile through TileBar using PayPal. TileBar failed to process the transaction, but I was charged. Even with a copy of my PayPal receipt, the business has been completely unhelpful in resolving my issue. They called to say they were on it, but PayPal shows that they still haven't even replied to the dispute. It's now almost a month after my original transaction.

Nice tile but huge delays
Nice tile but huge delays. I placed an $6,000 order on March 1 and most of it hasn’t even shipped as of April 2. I was told it was because they moved warehouses. OK?? That’s not my problem. They did give me a small refund for the delay, but this is holding up my whole project. The samples I ordered in January also took forever to ship. They also don’t notify you of shipment or send you a tracking number. They just tell you the day before that it’s being delivered the next day. Wouldn’t use them again.

Long item delay. Very bad experience!
Don’t order from TileBar if you want your items on time!! Ordered March 3, was told 14 day delivery and items are still not here March 36. I am being told you have staffing issues and will be at least another 10 days!! You are holding up my entire project!!! All they said is I could cancel but if I cancel I start over with someone else so I would still have my project delayed. I want my item shipped and not another 10 days of processing before I even find out when it is coming!!! And my project is already delayed no matter what at this point. Very upset!

I use TileBar for 2 reasons- the ability to see great tiles with all the pricing, square footage info and stock status available in real time, and for Jason. Jason is always such a help to me and my team. He responds so promptly, and always seeks to find a solution swiftly and efficiently. TileBar just wouldn't be the same without Jason!

I was sent the wrong tile. I just needed to be sent the correct tile at no cost, does that too difficult? I called, emailed numerous times. I was on hold for 3 hours!! Nobody helped me. They could readily take a new order for the correct tile if I paid for it again!! Tile bar has no interest in retaining customers.They should be out of business soon!! Can’t wait

Damaged tiles 3 orders in a row
3 orders in a row the tiles came in smashed to pieces. They do the absolute bare minimum to protect their shipments. The first order was 30 sheets of mosaic tile with 28 sheets smashed. The second order was tile for a full shower. The boxes had ripped open and the tile fell through the pallet which smashed it up. Zero padding or protection. The replacement tiles took 2 weeks and came in smashed. They only used some thin foam sheets in the box. I would never recommend ordering from them. I’m behind 3 weeks on my job and my customer is not happy.
