Very poor after sales service and disappointing experience
I purchased bathroom products from Tile & Bath co Llansamlet Swansea and experienced multiple issues including damaged extra large Shower Tray & Shattered toilet pan
Despite raising this within 10 days of delivery Head Office was extremely unhelpful. I was passed between different members of staff members. - my concerns were not taken seriously
The situation caused unnecessary delays and additional cost to my bathroom installation
What’s most disappointing is the lack of accountability and failure to provide a reasonable resolution, despite my rights as a consumer
I would NOT recommend this Company and suggest others look elsewhere to avoid the same frustration
In conclusion
Poor customer service after purchase
Damaged items -no accountability
Caused delays and extra stress during our bathroom installation. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Great customer service. Really helpful and came away with exactly what I wanted. Extremely knowledgeable. My mum in law had a bit of a turn in the store. The Salesman went above and beyond, very kind.
Would recommend 100 percent.
Thank you one very happy customer
Excellent service, Gary at the Cross Hands shop has been so helpful and accommodating. There was a delay in delivery and Gary sorted it out straightaway. I had a call the next day to say my tiles are in. Very happy and highly recommended
Shocking. If I could give zero stars I would. Went into the shop looking for three new bathrooms. Man behind the desk made no effort to speak to me, was instead too busy speaking to someone on the phone. The phone conversation was on speaker, with constant swearing from whoever was on the phone.
The two guys in the store are great, nothing is too much trouble for them. We bought Florence grey 80 x 40 matt porcelain tiles and trims in light grey. The tiles are so beautiful and the trims matched up really well. Would recommend.
Great service as always from Mark and Kevin at the Swansea store. The boys are always really friendly, knowledgeable and happy to provide advice and guidance, meaning we never go anywhere else, whether we're buying for ourselves or our rentals.
Thanks boys!
We cannot recommend these guys enough! Great customer service from all the staff we encountered despite not knowing exactly what style we wanted. Darren was especially helpful and offered ideas and guidance - we ended up purchasing the tiles suggested by him and the bathroom looks amazing! We would 100% return to the Caerphilly store in the future. From a very happy and satisfied customer 😊
I just want to say a massive thank you to Darren and his staff for all of their help in organising the purchase of kitchen floor and wall tiles. The quality in product and customer service is second to none. Thanks guys
Having used Bath & Tile co Llanelli previously on our last property for our bathroom and en suite we were not disappointed with the products and service provided by Berian and Mandy.
After receiving such good advice and a friendly service we decided to use Bath & Tile again after recently moving house. After purchasing a full bathroom suite, walk in shower and tiles and the same for the en suite Berian gave us great advice to work within our budget.
We can’t recommend Bath & Tile Llanelli enough and would definitely use them again. A big thank you to Berian and Mandy.
On ordering they were great, even helped with changing items…. The difficulty came when ordering fitted furniture, they pull in a supplier. We took delivery, 2 units were wrong, we sent them back and they were replaced but 1 unit still wrong and no feet… having rang them again they replaced the unit again …. With another wrong unit…. 2 weeks later still waiting. I would say sort your supplier out.. they clearly don’t know how to box their items
Our experience with Tile and Bath Co started off fine, the designer Michelle was helpful although they had to order our tiles in from another warehouse as they weren't in stock and we were required to pay up front. There was a delay in getting the tiles so we cancelled the order, requested a refund and that was where the problem started. We emailed and phoned a number of times with no response at all, so after 4 weeks of no communication we contacted the Dept of Fair Trading and let the company know that we'd done that. Surprise, surprise we had a response within hours and the refund is being processed. Have yet to see the money in our account, fingers crossed. Wouldn't recommend this company at all.

On opening the boxes of tiles, I found 40% of one batch was in pieces (four boxes). I contacted the firm who said I should have contacted them immediately. I have had them stored safely since delievery. This means you have to open every single box of tiles and inspect each tile within 48 hours or they will not refund. This is completely impractical - I bought two whole bathrooms worth from them! They just told me to buy more. I will see if another supplier stocks this tile as I do not recommend them at all.
When I opened the box today which was delivered on the 24th we found that the toilet was damaged. When the company was contacted all they have kept telling me is that it states on the invoice that the goods must be opened immediately on receipt. These goods were delivered to my home by their man with a van and had not moved from where they were put down. And to cap it off they told me the Plummer should not have opened the box but me.
I don't really want to give them one star because their policy is disgusting.
Excellent service once again from Gary and Michaela.
Both are very helpful, always willing to offer advice and nothing is too much trouble. When I need any materials Cross Hands is my first stop.
Please be careful before buying anything from this company. I am extremely disappointed with this company. Last February I purchased around a £1000 in all from a store which included a vanity unit, sink, tap and floor tiles. This purchase was spring 2022. I had everything installed around May time and all looked beautiful. I noticed around December time that the side of the vanity unit was splitting. This was approximately 7 months after installation. I contacted the shop where I purchased the unit and emailed them photos of the damage. I was told it was water damage and there was nothing I could do. I couldn’t believe that a unit which was intended for a bathroom would split so easily and blamed on water damage. I then emailed a regional manager who also agreed with the shop manager. I was told I had to wipe the unit down if I didn’t want this to happen. I decided to email head office who again responded with the same answer but ‘as a gesture of goodwill’ I was offered a new vanity unit at a discounted price! This unit was approx 7 months into its use, it was splitting and was told I had to buy a new unit! I strongly feel this is a manufacturing fault and not water damage. The cupboard is built to be used in a bathroom. It’s sole purpose is to hold a sink! Water and condensation will inevitably be in a bathroom my argument was if this had occurred due to water damage why hadn’t any other part of the cupboard split?
I believe this is not the way a well known company should be dealing with its customers.
Good customer service....that is until they take your money. Bought a bathroom suite from the Cross Hands store in 2021. When everything was delivered, the delivery guy left everything outside, so I had a bathroom suite outside my house until my father could come to help.
The toilet wasn't the one I ordered. The vanity unit was damaged, but they didn't come to collect it, I had to take it back myself, then I had to wait over a week for a replacement, which I then had to collect myself.
When it came to fitting the bath, it didn't come with a plug nor the waste pipes. This delayed the plumber as he had source everything that was missing himself.
Once the vanity unit was fitted, there's about half an inch gap between the doors.
Within a few months of the bathroom being fitted, I noticed cracks appearing in the side panel of the bath. I complained about this in December 2021 and the guy replied with 'ask the plumber to come back to turn the panel upside down', so I don't notice the crack. I've since found out that the guy that replied with that great advice was the owner of the company himself!!!!
A few months after, the sink taps weren't working. The tap itself just kept turning, so when the plumber came back, he took it all apart and said that he'd never seen anything like it....the 'teeth' inside the tap had completely worn. When it came to getting a replacement, Tile and Bath told us that they would ring us when they were in store, but surprisingly they never did and we had to chase them, so was left without bathroom taps for a couple of weeks, which is unhygienic and definitely not ideal with 2 small children.
I absolutely regret using this company. Having a new bathroom was meant to be exciting, but thanks to the quality and the after sales experience, it's been anything but.
Can't fault these people. Service was fantastic from order to delivery and everyone was really helpful, willing to share advice and easy to deal with.
