still waiting for my refund from a canceled event (J2)
This company was made by LWE Events who brand themselves as Londons biggest electronic event organisers!!! As Ticket Tannoy ignore all customer service messages and have been for a long time I approached them to assist with a refund they to was unhelpful which is disgusting that their company was allowed to disappear after Covid and many people have been left out of pocket whilst they continue to make money promoting other club nights!!!
I’ve been trying to arrange my refund since 4th March, it’s now 27th May. That is with weekly chasers.
Had 3 replies from someone called Corrie, who was supposedly going to get back to me in 3 days, that was on 8th April.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Will avoid any event booked through them now.
Still want my money back please and thanks :)
Worst customer service ever: TicketTannoy has scammed me out of a refund. They sent communications promising a refund to anyone who had purchased at ticket to a festival, which was postponed due to COVID-19. It has been over 2 months since I requested the refund, and right after providing the required details to process the transaction, they've simply stopped replying to messages and are refusing to give the refund. Would advise not purchasing tickets from them in the future and trying another vendor.
They charged me booking fee for cancelled festival.
I will second the above reviewer. Their website stinks and really offers no help at all like lot of companies today offering customer services in this manner.
To me it seems a n other over glossed modern americanised website fronted by their cheesey smiling staff trying to radiate a positive company looking like it is only to willing to help and be efficient. Well they failed miserably especially if you have their older products you can forget it!
In short all you get now is a load of pointless questions in order to ask your one single question, so that their so called smart automated website can try and fob you off with automated tailored answers based on the all annoying profiling questions it asked earlier (that or they too may be gathering data on you like every other company does to sell you more crap or worse). I hate it!!
You just get led down blind alleys and irrelevant streets as the questions try to narrow down what you are after for help never getting there.
But alas it seems the way of the world rather than employ a real person. However even Amazon is better than this at least you do get to speak to someone and they are infinitely bigger. Any way if you do mangage to soldier on and get a ticket in order to ask you question don't expect any response there either as I got none.
Gone are the days when you could phone, even email Tannoy for a quick bit of advice or help/ spare part.
so good luck to any with older Tannoy products trying to get any help from them today.
