this company sucks
It's only as smart as the person who made it; there is clearly an idiot, and many lawsuits against this brand
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

My name is Donald Wray VP Electrical Engineering for USAI Lighting. I have been a design engineer for over 45 Years hold over 30 patents. I have ordered a TI-Evaluation board for a switching regulator and it is on hold. I have talked to the totally useless customer service department 4 times now and it sounds like they are overseas in India and all I get is they will investigate it. I ask for a number of higher management and they refuse to give it. I will most likely design the part out and shy away from TI on any new designs
these are scammers who have not returned money for 3 months and have stopped responding to support emails
Their calculators dont have a button for procent and it is horrible to use
What happened? None of their products work. Operating system issues, batteries don’t hold a charge. Customer service can’t resolve the issues. Ask you to fill out a form to request new batteries!!! For a $149 calculator. Known issue and they don’t replace the stock-perfect time for a competitor to take their market share-please.
A childhood company great products for my whole life 50 now
It's not possible to register as a user because of some technical problem.
But I DID find a way to contact them without an account.
So they created the account - which works. But I cannot change the password...:
"The old password you provided does not match our records."
Good company with storied tradition, but they aid foreign dignitaries to procure microchips to be used for genocide and slaughter.
Only interested in big clients, absolute no support for startups nor individuals. I tend to avoid them in all my new designs.
This used to be a great company who I would always consider one of the top choices when developing a circuit design.
Now that they have revoked support to individuals and their staff at trade show stands aren't interested in discussing technical matters or use cases, I avoid any of their parts.
Distributor reps. have also commented on how difficult it has become to obtain support from TI and are less likely to recommend them.
It seems TI are only interested if you are a large company with volume buying power.
Such a shame because if they supported individuals, students and hobbyists, they would go on to use TI parts in the future.
As a prototype electronics designer, after 20+ years of designing hundreds of products that must have resulted in millions of chip sales, using TI components, and being in their 'free sample' program, I am suddenly denied access, and given no reasons whatsoever.
I can no longer recommend TI or their products.
I ordered few opamps and DAC chip, much better price then shopping over re-sellers. Shopping was smooth experience, very low shipping fee from Singapore to Czech republic. I would be happy to get some samples for my future projects, sadly they rejected my request. If I should be rating my shopping experience only, it is 5 stars.
I love Texas Instruments my school uses their calculators and so I must do the same also please lower the prices I'm poor
Really good quality sensors and thoroughly written datasheets. Great of electronics projects. The shopping website is a little hard to use, so I usually buy their products from a 3rd party distributor.
