Information provided by various external sources

Based in Whitchurch, Shropshire the Wood Yard enjoys a history covering over 130 years. Formerly, Roger Haydock & Co (Whitchurch) Ltd and prior to that RT Smith, the Wood Yard is a traditional timber merchant which supplies the local community and the surrounding areas of North Shropshire and South Cheshire. Conveniently located behind Tesco in the heart of the town, the Wood Yard operates from a 1 acre site in which we have a mix of open storage space (for constructional / sawn timber), covered storage sheds (for machined timber and sheet materials) as well as a 10000 sq ft store (for DIY products and showrooms). Our customers are typically builders, joiners, tradesmen and enthusiastic "DIY'ers". Here at The Wood Yard we offer machining and cutting facilities, we also deliver using our own transport. We have access to many other products which may not be on display and encourage you to send us your enquiries.. We look forward to welcoming you to the Wood Yard (behind Tesco) in Whitchurch soon. We also offer plenty of free parking!

Poor

Poor. Your local pizza or Dominoes will be much better. They are busy so no other options. Had to wait over 2 1/2 hrs for a take away. Nothing special. Drive to Dominoes or go elsewhere.

This place is a dump

Me and my 5 children and husband came here to have a lovely drink on a nice summer day so we came to sit down and this extremely rude employee came over and started shouting at us to move because she didn't know if it was booked she had pigtails and without hesitation kicked us out so we are not very impressed.
