We have just started the wedding planning process, we knew where and roughly when we wanted to get married. Sarah is our planner and made the whole process very relaxing and took a lot of the worry away as everything is being taking care of via the Wedding Travel Company. We have chosen Kos being married at Kastri Island and then reception at Mylotopi Authentic Village. We have been visiting Kefalos for over 10 years and so happy Sarah has made the process of us getting married there a possibility. The quote was very clear, Sarah answered all our questions and before we went a head with paying the deposit she scheduled in a call just to go over it all again and make sure we where happy to proceed.

We only started looking at venues two weeks ago and honestly had no clear idea what we wanted. The thought of booking a wedding abroad without visiting first made us feel quite anxious.

After speaking with Sarah Shaya at The Wedding Travel Company, everything changed. She completely calmed our nerves and carefully talked us through all the available options. She really listened to what we were looking for and understood our vision.

After our phone call, she sent over lots of recommendations and at the end of her email included one special venue in Zante that was slightly different from what we had originally been considering. Based purely on what she’d learned about us, she absolutely smashed it. It wasn’t somewhere we had even come across on the website, and not what we initially had in mind, but the moment we saw it, we were beaming. We instantly knew it was the one.

Without Sarah truly listening and taking on board what we wanted, we would never have found this venue. Within just two days, we had secured it and paid our deposit!

We’re now so excited to work with Sarah and the concierge team over the coming months to bring everything together and make our wedding day as perfect as it can be.

We had our wedding booked for a year, but when we found out that we were expecting our gorgeous little boy Kim was incredible and advised us what to do and rearranged everything for the following year as we could not fly. She Kept us in the loop with emails and phone calls. Always going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect, she even kept in contact when we were in Rhodes.

Huge shout-out to Elenor (Wedding planner) and Samina (makeup artist), soaking up that gorgeous Greek sun. You both were fabulous!

Now the wedding is over, and I couldn’t access my wedding photos Kim jumped into action and sorted this out straight away. We were so lucky to have her!

I am writing this to warn any future couples to think twice before handing over a single penny to this company. If your circumstances change,even for serious health reasons...do not expect an ounce of humanity, compassion, or fairness from this team.
​We booked a wedding for may 2027, but unfortunately, my mother became very unwell, and we were left with no choice but to cancel the booking. Despite us giving them over fourteen months' notice for them to resell the date, they have hidden behind "non-refundable" fine print to pocket over £2,300 of our money.
​We asked for a simple, honest breakdown of their "actual losses" to justify keeping such a life-changing amount of money while we were dealing with a family illness. They refused. They are a retail agent, not the end supplier, yet they are keeping thousands of pounds more than the actual hotel’s cancellation fee. This isn't "business". it is predatory.
​Planning a wedding is supposed to be a happy time, but this company has shown zero empathy for a genuine medical situation. They are quite happy to profit from a family’s misfortune while they are at their most vulnerable.
They are lovely when they are taking your deposit, but the moment you need a shred of human kindness or understanding due to illness, they will shut the door in your face and keep your money. Please, save yourself the heartbreak and the financial risk. Book with a company that has a heart because this one doesn't.

Sarah has been absolutely amazing in helping us get our big day booked. We were unsure on destination to begin with and she narrowed it down for us for what was within our budget and helped us select an amazing venue. She responded to all emails very quickly and was able to answer my 1000 questions straight away. She went through everything at the time of booking in detail to ensure we were happy with the package we went with. I would definitely recommend this company and if you are lucky enough to get Sarah as your planner you will not be disappointed.

Our experience with Peggy has been amazing and can’t thank her enough for all of her help so far! She has been organised, supportive, and incredibly attentive from the very beginning. Sarah was amazing from the start. We have booked our wedding for next May. And she’s made the process so easy that within 2 days of phoning the travel wedding company Sarah sorted everything from start to finish and I was reassured that everything was what we both wanted for our wedding. Knowing that we can pay for wedding off throughout the year has been a lot of stress off our back. We were looking at other companies to book our wedding however the travel wedding company plan your wedding and they show the prices on their website so your not shocked by the pricing. I could not recommend them enough
