Kate O'Shea – The Wedding Series Concierge Experience (Services Not Delivered)

I engaged The Wedding Series Concierge Service (also referred to in communications and materials as The Wedding Series / Love Story Magazine) in April 2025 and paid in full for a 12-month membership, which concluded in April 2026.

Prior to proceeding, I conducted online searches on both the company, The Wedding Series Concierge, and the individual I was dealing with, Kate O'Shea. At the time, there did not appear to be any publicly available information that raised concerns. Based on the information and representations provided, the service appeared credible and well structured, which contributed to my decision to proceed.

The service included specific deliverables such as a vendor profile, promotional exposure, and access to the concierge platform. These services were not provided.

Over several months, communication was inconsistent and timelines continued to shift. Despite multiple follow-ups and formal written requests, the agreed services were never delivered.

As of April 2026, being the end of the 12-month service period, the agreed services had still not been delivered.

My experience with Kate O'Shea and The Wedding Series Concierge did not align with the services that were outlined at the time of engagement.

A refund was later agreed to, however as of April 2026 it has not been processed and communication has since ceased.

I have attempted to resolve this directly in good faith over an extended period of time.

By sharing this experience, I hope other suppliers in the wedding and events industry can make informed decisions when considering engagement with Kate O'Shea, The Wedding Series Concierge, or services presented under associated branding as referenced in communications (Love Story Magazine, The Wedding Showcase Pty Ltd, TWS Concierge).

For many small businesses, this type of service represents a significant investment. If you do choose to proceed, consider structuring payments in stages aligned to agreed deliverables, so expectations and outcomes are clearly tied together and you are not exposed to the risk of committing the full amount upfront without receiving the expected outcome.
