Brad was our rescue angel in what turned out to be an annoying, endless search for reasonably priced, non-American carriers to the USA. The extreme price jacking after you-know-who-and-co started that war, is, apart from all the other atrocities, also absolutely atrocious. And while I'm here, please explain to me why gas companies jack prices up during a crisis like this after already jacking up prices for decades! Am I stupid to think maybe, just maybe, in the hopeful idea of a positive trajectory of humankind gas companies might just say "hey! we've got so much money out of you forever, why not us all just keep prices down while things are being sorted out"?? Anyway - nonsense aside, and belief in better more decent ways of gas corporations or countries to act - after an elongated search for decency, to find Brad at The Travel House was a gift and a sign that people can be, within their professional boundaries, just perfectly, well, decent. I will definitely check in on The Travel House first before anything else now. They are simply professional, good people - and good at what they do.

The do checked in bags at zero kg!!!
Totally unimpressed with the booking process with this organisation.
I booked tickets to Istanbul and checked in bags as well as carry on bags. Initially with Kayak then with The Travel House.
Paid for the tickets then found out the checked in bags were 0kg each!!!!
Who does that ….. a checked in bag of 0kg is not a bag. It’s a scam so that the can feature on the results with other real travel company’s that do include a bag with 20-23kg as per normal procedure.
No amount of emails and conversations would convince them that their actions were deceptive and downright dishonest.
I will never use them again and warn others to beware of their shameful shameful and deceptive sales tactics.

Hidden fare classes and misleading booking practices
We used Travel House to book our business class flights to Thailand in October. The process of booking was very seamless so no complaints there. The issue is they mispresent the offer class of ticket you are buying. We booked with Etihad airlines via this company and they simply tell you that you are booking 'Business Class' - what they do not disclose is that they are selling you a 'value' fare which strips out the key business perks. So you get no lounge access and you have to pay £322 to reserve your seats on the plane. So what you expect will be a business experience quickly turns into a budget airlines experience as they hide the added extras. So what we thought was a good price is simply bettered going direct to the airline where they are at least transparent about their pricing and don't try to hide what you would assume are included in your fare, seat booking and the business lounge.
I did have the courtesy to contact the agency but they hide behind their shady booking practice and won't acknowledge this misleading practice. Miss-selling a product like this is unacceptable and we are now £300 further out of pocket.
Update - Thanks for your reply but all you are doing is hiding behind facts that the average customer is not to know. When you present 'business class' with no additional options or transparency that you are buying the bargain basement fare then you are not presenting the consumer with all the facts to made an informed decision. I would have booked direct had I know you were just nickle and diming the customers to get the sale. Its low morals sales.

Realising my mistake I rang at 9pm on a Sunday and yes th rep helped me correct the date and his good advice helped make the ticket a return which made the transaction less financially painful. The rep treated me as premier customer from start to finish, despite my stupid error. Excellent rep, first class service and good advice on long-haul flights.
