New Homes Group set up our mortgage and insurance. We specifically asked for good insurance cover as we are self-employed. This was done and we were happy. After a cancer diagnosis we then discovered that our policies had been change, without our knowledge or consent and basically we could claim for nothing.
Insurance was discussed during remortgages but none of consultants advised on not having cover on our mortgage, even when they tried to sell us another insurance policy, despite us saying we didn't need it as we had mortgage cover.
They have left us in severe financial difficulties as we cannot work while undergoing treatment.
They only seem interested in their commission and kick backs with little or no concern for their clients. They take an age to respond to complaints, if they do respond and are completely incompetent with their advice and only advise on what best suits their commission and the easiest route for them.
We advise not to use IMH, New Homes Group for your mortgage or insurance needs.

We worked with Ian Stainer from having our offer accepted right through to completion on our first property. There was quite a long and stressful wait throughout the process, through no fault of New Homes Group or ourselves, but Ian was fantastic in supporting us through it. He was always friendly and willing to help with any queries, and consistently chased all parties involved on our behalf. He kept us updated at every stage, offered helpful advice to keep things progressing, and was always available for any questions we had throughout the sale and purchase. The sales progression manager Kelsey was excellent, Kelsey phoned me on a weekly basis to check the progress status that I had and relayed any information that came from her side of the moving process, often Kelsey provided more information than I had been given myself!

Lucinda was fantastic! As first time buyers, we were unsure of how the process would work, and Lucinda made sure to keep us updated every step of the way. She chased everything up for us, and was an asset all the way from offer accepted to completion! Ironically, she was the person who we didn't pay and was the most help!
