Crafty and kind.
Looking for a smaller arts and crafts supplier than Amazon, I stumbled across the website for That's Crafty, a family-run business in Essex. Having ordered a couple of gel presses, I was disappointed to see that they were not in mint condition, with cracks in the packaging and signs of use.
The owners were pretty horrified when I called, and asked for photos. They offered to replace the plates, but I felt that was a lot of faffing about and money for a perfectly reusable product (and they were really nice about the whole thing), so they agreed to my suggestion to just knock off a few quid.
In short:
* The products arrived quickly
* The issue was dealt with graciously by the owners
* I'll buy from them again
