Cancelled orders
Multiple times I placed my order to be cancelled days later due to unavailability, despite being all the products featured as available on the website. I lost promo codes in Thalia, on time bday presents, and discount opportunities in other websites for trusting Thalia. There won't be another time.

I have ordered once books on 7.11.25 and since then they keep chatging my card and ship books. I called them to stop this shit but still they doing it.

Since I mostly read English books, Thalia is always the best place to find them and to get them delivered in a matter of days. I am extremely happy with all they do!
The communication around delivery…
The communication around delivery times, and the delivery times itself, is unbelievably poor. It shouldn't take more than 4 working days to receive what I ordered. Since I have my own business, I know this is a business decision (and cannot be blamed on DHL!).
What I hate about that, is that it ultimately forces me to choose a partner like Amazon to order from, as they are transparent and quick when it comes to delivering my orders.
It's actually impossible to buy anything there, so just don't waste your time
It was my third time trying to buy a book here. First, the opening times on their website were incorrect - the shop closed at 14, while the website said 20. Alright, I make a second attempt and come to the shop again, since the website again says that the book is there. It is not. I now make an order online with a pick up option, Thalia promises it will be ready in an hour. I wait for an hour at that shopping center, and 1.5h later Thalia sends me an email that my order can't be completed that day, but will be ready to pick up the next day. Guess what happens? Absolutely nothing. It's not ready again. And of course, there is no option to cancel the order if you've made it as a guest.
Today I made my third attempt. I've now ordered a pick up in a 24/7 locker in another Thalia shop in my city and this order is fully paid. It was again promised to be ready for a pick up in an hour. Surprise - it's not.
This is the worst service I've ever seen in a shop that big.
Update: they actually don't have this book at all. "We do not currently have a specific delivery date. We always strive to procure the offered goods as quickly as possible. An automatic confirmation will be sent as soon as the order is ready for collection.
We regret that we cannot provide more positive news and are always available to answer any further questions.".
Meaning they don't even offer me a refund!
Update 2: I've now received an email stating that the first order, which I've already asked to cancel multiple times, had arrived and is waiting for me to pick it up.

Very disappointing! Paid 24 euros for the book online with click and collect option (no shipment costs for the company), when I collected the book the price was 14 eur.
Be careful with buying online and collecting it, potentially not the best price.
If the product is overpriced then I would rather support a small bookshop

I ordered a book that I havent received.
I ordered a book. They took my order. Then they sent me an email saying my book will be sent when they restock. That was August ... this review is November ... that's 3 months. No communication, No updates since. Its not the money. It is however the principle of giving customer updates.
