Good products but poor communication

Ordered boxing gloves as an early christmas present for my son. I ordered them from this store rather than another one my son had found as they were showing in stock and were cheaper. I
placed the order and received an email confirmation, letting me know I would be emailed again once dispatched.
Then nothing! After just over a week I emailed, but heard nothing, I called and did speak to someone to say they were expecting them in at the end of the week ( this was 2 weeks from ordering)
Still heard nothing, emailed on the third week, again had no response.
Finally after 3 weeks we had notification from Royal Mail they would be delivering a parcel they had for us. We made the assumption it was the boxing gloves as we still had received no emails from the store.
On a positive note, the gloves arrived and my son is really pleased with them.
Just a shame communication isn’t great when stock actually has to be ordered in and isn’t in store ready to be despatched as soon as an order is placed.

Hi Ryan,

thank you for the review. The particular gloves on your order, the Fairtex Golden Jubilee Gloves are listed on the website as supplier fulfilled and has been for the past 2 years. These gloves are not a particularly well selling glove but we leave them open to be ordered for customers who are after a pair. I did discuss this specific point with you on the telephone when you called in and provided you with an explanation as to why they are marked as available to buy. With regard to tracking, we have been having issues with hotmail mail servers for the past couple of months and from conversations with other customers this has been affecting other retailers as well. This is something out of our control and is being worked on by the web team who have to go through the hotmail help desk to get the issue resolved so I do apologise for this. It is something we are aware of and have been working to be resolved for the past few months with varying degrees of success.

Discoloured Fairtex shin guards

Ordered Fairtex shin guards in white for my son. When they arrived they were a more of a yellowy colour and distinctly discoloured. V disappointing.

Hi Susan, this is a product review and not a service review. The colour of the shin guards is accurate on the site as they are displayed on a white background. Fairtex class them as white so that is how we class them. The UK distributors site shows them the same way

We have not had any direct communications from you about product related issues but we do operate a 30 day returns policy for orders so you are welcome to return the product for a replacement or a refund.
