I recently booked a holiday as a special treat for my wife and disabled son, who have both spent long periods in hospital this year. We chose the Aska Lara Resort in Turkey and paid a significant amount to make this trip memorable and stress‑free.

However, after booking, I discovered that Teletext Holidays had placed one of our rooms in the main hotel and the other in the annex building, which is around ten minutes away. This is completely unsuitable and shows a lack of care, as both rooms need to be in the main building so I can properly support my wife and disabled child.

Teletext Holidays have acknowledged the mistake, but so far have not corrected it. With less than a week before we travel, this situation is causing unnecessary stress. I urgently need Teletext Holidays to resolve this issue and provide the rooms we booked and require

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I wanted to book a holiday for my elderly mother and mother in law just for a bit of respite. The agent on the phone was made aware that there were elderly travelers and that this would be a family holiday. He insisted that this was suitable and the best hotel in the area.

The hotel was absolutely appalling. Our room was filthy, the bathroom stank, light fittings were hanging off the walls, skirting boards were coming away and there was exposed electrical wiring. How is any of this safe?! And to make matters worse, it is situated right next to a night club. Loud music until 2-3am. There was nothing family friendly about this at all. Shame on you!

We contacted Teletext while we were still on holiday and repeatedly asked for help and to be moved. Despite being told that our case was being looked into, nothing meaningful was done to help us for the entire holiday. We were eventually forced to arrange alternative accommodation ourselves through Airbnb and pay for it ourselves!

We were later told that they couldn't find any available hotels but this was only communicated on the final day of our holiday, so they did not try to help at all.

Their handling of the situation was completely unprofessional and frankly disgusting.

And the customer service didn't improve once we came home. It has now been OVER A MONTH and despite numerous emails and a formal complaint I still have not received ANY KIND of response from them regarding compensation.

We paid for a package holiday and were left with a filthy and dangerous accommodation, a grossly misrepresented transfer, sleepless nights, an elderly member of our party becoming ill, additional accommodation costs, and NO support from Teletext when we needed it.

This has been an absolutely DREADFUL experience from start to finish. AVOID Teletext and take your money SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

The agent, Krishna, was helpful and respectful. All queries has been answered with satisfactory outcome/result.

We would definitely book again with Teletext holidays. The representative was professional and very patient with us. Credit cards would not work, couldn’t find passports but Gary was fantastic and managed to book our holiday for us after several requests to call us back as nothing was going right for us! So thanks Gary! We will definitely book again. 😀

I’ve been booking my holidays with Teletext for the past 9 years, and my experience with Vivin was genuinely exceptional.

Vivin spent two days helping me find the best holiday deal and, once we found the right one, he spent around 40 minutes personally handling the entire booking process for me. I didn’t have to do a single thing. He took care of everything from start to finish.

I had checked other holiday websites, including Loveholidays and On the Beach, where I initially found lower prices. However, I chose to speak to Vivin out of loyalty to Teletext. He not only beat their prices, but offered me an even better and cheaper holiday deal, including free private transfers.

What really stood out was his customer service. He was incredibly patient, polite, professional and genuinely committed to finding me the best possible holiday at the best possible price.

After 9 years of booking with Teletext, Vivin has provided one of the best booking experiences I’ve had. He is a real credit to Teletext.

5 stars without hesitation. Excellent customer service, great value and a completely stress-free booking process. I would highly recommend Vivin to anyone looking for the best and cheapest holiday deal.

Called 3 times today in regards to booking a holiday, each time with a different reference number that had been sent direct from teletext with a total cost of the holiday.
Rang and gave reference number within minutes of receiving it and EVERY time the cost had gone up by 100s.
They kept say... The cost is live and changes all the time!

The cost they send is low to get you on the phone hoping you will be fooled and pay over the odds!!

I booked a holiday to Antalya after the sales representative (Daniel) explicitly confirmed there was no weight limit on under-seat baggage, only size limits. When I checked directly with Corendon Airlines, they confirmed a 4kg limit.

I spent days chasing Teletext Holidays for answers. I was repeatedly promised callbacks from agents and a manager (Alfred) that never happened, while being given constantly changing timelines for their quality team to review the call recording.

When Alfred finally emailed, he claimed the rep did mention the weight limit—which is completely false. I immediately requested a copy of the call recording. A week later, I have received no response.

Save yourself the stress and money. Avoid this company.

I have emailed customer relations but they only want to deal with issues after the holiday and not before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke to Logan, who was so patient with me and took the time to explain everything clearly. He gave the highest level of customer service, kept reassuring me all the way through, and truly went above and beyond to find us the best tickets for our holiday. Logan is a real credit to your team, he made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, and I can't thank him enough
