Good support services are essential for efficent relationships especially for after sales problems

It became necessary to "fix" an issue with my annual renewal. As luck would have it, the registered payment method expired and I could see no available way to correct the issue. A call to support was answered by a human and the matter easily dealt with quickly and efficently, and we had a pleasant chat.
Surely beats canned robotic answering services!

It's annoying only recording 5 minutes

It's annoying that I can only record for 5 minutes at a time with your app. If I want to record longer sequences, I have to reconfigure and start the next sequence every 5 minutes. This results in individually saved clips with time gaps.
Even when saving 5-minute sequences, it would be better if I could initially configure the recordings so that, after completing the individual recordings, I could play them back one after the other in such a way that the very short pauses in between would be barely noticeable.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that the 5-minute recording limit in our free online version can be frustrating when you're trying to capture longer sequences.

We'd like to clarify that while each scene has a 5-minute limit, a single project can have unlimited scenes. The transition between those should be seamless in your final exported video, with no gaps or pauses.

If you need to make longer, continuous recordings in a single take, we recommend checking out our desktop software, Snagit and Camtasia.

The renewal method is obsolete…

The only thing that MUST be changed is the renewal method... very very old fashion. In 2025 something more modern MUST be a default.
Anyway, the software is very good and I'll suggest.

Spent 5 days trying to establish a new…

Spent 5 days trying to establish a new account so my IT person could help me with a major project. VERY mixed, confusing messaging, awful website direction, dead ends, outdated information. My IT person has used your product for many years
and swears it is magnificant. One never gets a second chance to make a great first impression is certainky true with TechSmith.

Know your optons

I switched from Camtasia and Audiate to Camtasia Create when I saw that Create incorporated Audiate, but switched back when I found out that I lost the translation function in Audiate with the new application. Sarah was very helpful and outlined my options well, but I would have liked to have kmown that the translation function would go away when I made the switch.
