One star for the artsy photo, zero for after-sales service
I’ve ordered from Teadrop several times and always liked their tea, which is why I happily recommended them to friends. Sadly, this experience taught me that once they ship your order, you’re completely on your own.
I placed an order in mid November and later received a “delivered” notification with a photo as proof. I never received the parcel. The photo, however, was unforgettable — a highly artistic, surreal shot where you can almost identify two human shapes. The parcel itself? Nowhere to be seen. A true masterpiece, but not exactly proof of delivery.
I contacted Teadrop by email and through their website, politely asking if they could help check where the courier delivered the parcel. Silence. Days passed. More silence. It seems their after-sales service philosophy is: dispatch and disappear.
Eventually, I filed a PayPal dispute (thankfully I used PayPal!). Teadrop replied to PayPal saying the parcel was delivered — attaching the same artsy photo again, still without the parcel in it. I asked PayPal if anyone actually looked at the photo, because if the parcel isn’t in the picture, what exactly was delivered? A shadow? A vibe?
Thankfully, PayPal refunded me after reviewing the case.
What’s most disappointing is that I wasn’t even asking Teadrop for a refund, I just wanted them to acknowledge my message and help locate the missing parcel. As a repeat customer, I expected basic communication. Instead, I was ignored until PayPal stepped in.
I’m genuinely surprised there were no reviews for this company on Trustpilot, it seems I’m the first one leaving a review. I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.
My advice: if you order from Teadrop, hope for the best. If not, at least you’ll receive an artsy photo as compensation, especially if surrealism is your style. One star is for the photo alone. For the after-sales service, if I could give zero stars, I would.
